It’s perfect for 3 finger mouse users, especially for Fortnite, that game alone is the reason this mouse is selling at such high numbers.

The switches go out within 6 months to 1 year and causes double click issues. Logitech is one of the only brands that allows rapid click macros directly on the mouse. Razor and other brands do not allow it because they decided it's cheating. Logitech doesn't believe that type of regulation should be forced on people. And it's a good thing too because the switches wouldn't keep up with rapid clicking for long.

@@Monochrome_I It is well documented all over KZbin, forums, and reviews, that Logitech uses switches rated for 5v/10mA at 3.3v/1mA and are prone to failure due to incorrect voltage, and cheap manufacturing with low rate binning. If you don't know what any of that means, then please evaluate your comment and try again.

@@Monochrome_I That's because 5 years ago (when you got yours) they were still good. They're made cheaper now and only last a year. My first one was bought 6 years ago, and it last until last year. So 5 years. When it died last year, I bought another and it only lasted 8 months. This is a very common experience for newer G502's.

The G502 is way more comfortable to me and just feels better overall. But this is subjective since I have larger size hands. I'm still using the G502 and no problems or issues and still comfortable. Thanks for watching.

I used to have the G600, I loved it, but it suffered from a double-clicking problem that was prevalent after 1 year of use and grew worse over time. I am now looking at the G502, so keep that in mind. I only used the buttons in the G600 at the time because it was helpful playing RTS games especially Warhammer 2. If you are worried about reliability then I'd say that you should go with the G502.

Yes the map-mouse pad is pretty popular! LOL! Yes, the DPI-Shift button on the Logitech G502 X can be removed or reversed depending on your playstyle.

I bought it and the scroll wheel was good at first and actually took finger strength to scroll(not alot of like it had weight) and then I redid my entire room, maybe I hit it on accident but now the scroll wheel is loose, could you help?

if you have a big hand it is very comfortable to hold and the mouse itself is very good for its price so I 100% recommend it

The button at the thumb made me regret buying this big time. I like having a full grip of the mouse and permenantly having a huge dpi button under my thumb is anything but confortable

It's not very obvious, but you can detach that switch if its in the way of the thumb by just pulling on it (its magnetically attacked). You can rotate it 180 degrees and see if its better the sticking out bit further away OR you can replace it a magnetic flat cover. It still works as a button but doesn't get in the way of your thumb if you have large hands.

Ghub has a customization menu where you can easily remove the functionality of that DPI button, it's not a problem.

the G hub software is horrible, it is slow and somehow uninstalled himself when trying to update it. trying to reinstall it ? you cant, it says its already installed. In other words: my registry got screwed over. As Windows doesn't show it anywhere.

@@UltimateTechHub I think you're holding it wrong. this is designed for a palm grip with the middle finger above the mouse wheel. This is the only way to have comfortable access to all buttons. And I don't like it one bit.

I use the g502 with all the extra weights. its the first mouse i havent accidently lifted while gaming. only downside is the ghost clicking after a few years but by then i just got another one 😂
