I love JPEG and the fact that she keeps her life private. She allows her grit, determination and tenacity on the 🎾 court to do all talking. She’s been one of my favorite female tennis player for a few years now…

Fantastic tennis player. I love her grit and determination. Money can't buy you a forehand like that. Best of luck in your future.

8/17/2023 - I grew up in Buffalo NY. There has always been money there. This narrator pronounces name wrong. With money in sports? Every world athlete has the "best". With her mom having a heart attack, I hope Ms. Pe - guu - La comes back to the BUFFALO BILLS as acting CEO & face of the franchise in the future. "Peg" -u-la, is wrong. Whatever she chooses, I know she'll do great. Money gives you chooses, not Talent &/or the drive to win. TY Jessica for everything and good luck on & off the court.

I think Pegula is an extremely good and consistent player.....easily deserving of her ranking. That being said, I almost always root for her opponent. The fact is that her family gave her the very best in everything tennis.....the best facilities, the best coaches, the best equipment. These are advantages that many other players never had. Some of the players came from very poor homes and from countries with poor facilities. They have had to scratch out a living with many disadvantages. Had they started with a "level playing field", Pegula might have a lower ranking. Again, I think she is capable of beating any of the top players, but she had advantages that many of them never had growing up.

I don't know any ATP player who grew up from a poor family. The development of an ATP player requires big $$$ o pay for expensive better coaches and lessons, participate in leagues and tournaments. If you're good at numbers, calculate how much one can spend since at 3, 5, or 7 years of age to become one like those of ATP players or even just to be a competitive one.
