Honestly, I don’t think Mariah Carey would be at the top if she wasn’t romantically involved with Tommy. I bet Mariah got the biggest promotion and budget from the label so Mariah Carey was famous because of connections too.

I get you... But the point is that Mariah can *actually sing*, JLo can hold a note yes but she's not a good singer. And she used other artists's vocals (especially Ashanti) acting like it was her. She only is famous because Tommy Motolla was using her to try and bring Mariah Down. That's the point (connections and romantical involvement aside)

Quit the JLO hate.... She's famous because she has the X factor. Period. She doesn't have the strongest voice but she's a performer and has confidence, She dances, she acts and she's a very smart business woman. On top of all that...SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!! People love her. And she ain't going nowhere. Just accept it already.
