Patrick Mahomes is everything you want in a quarterback. His ability to make incredible throws, both in the pocket and on the run, along with his leadership and competitive spirit, have made him a standout player in the league. He has proven to be the quintessential quarterback in the NFL today. His combination of arm strength, accuracy, mobility, and football IQ makes him incredibly versatile and effective. He's able to read defenses, make quick decisions, and execute plays that seem almost impossible. He used to play baseball in high school before going to Texas Tech.

I'm trying to quantify why Patrick is better than everyone else, maybe in history. (whether he wins more Super Bowls or not). Yes, he has prototypical size and a cannon for an arm, yes he has elite vision and elite ability to read defenses. Yes, he has the ability to layer his throws with touch when necessary, combined with elite accuracy. He has elite leadership and a drive to succeed. He always performs off script and plays hero ball better than everyone, but I think he has something that they used to say Larry Bird had, that no one else seems to have in the NFL. Elite Football awareness. The ability, in a nutshell, to do exactly what needs to be done to personally win a game when the game is on the line. It's not just "clutch" it's elite "Clutchnes and Elite Awareness combined exactly when needed". That is why he will go down as the G.O.A.T., if he hasn't already. He has it all. There isn't a way he can't beat you.

People get awed by his physical gifts and, rightfully so. But a lot of what puts him over the top is his rare intelligence. It gets overlooked, perhaps because of his froggy voice. I don't know. But his ability to see the entire field and anticipate the proper trajectory of each and every player at once is uncanny. When he tucks the ball and run, 90% of the time he's getting the first down simply because he takes the proper angles. He's like Neo in the Matrix. He doesn't have Lamar Jackson's finese and shiftiness and he doesn't have Josh Allen's ability to lower his shoulders and crash into linebackers, but Mahome's always knows where to go when he takes off. Another crazy thing about him is his constant awareness of where the line of scrimmage is. I don't think I've ever seen him flagged for throwing past the line of scrimmage. He may be standing right on it, but never beyond it, despite scrambling around like a madman for several seconds. The kid is a cyborg.

But I've watched them against the Rams and the Raiders when they were in LA and I always enjoyed the games, but there is nothing to compare with what Mahomes has brought to the franchise -- hope, excitement and League and Super Bowl trophies. And I think he's just getting warmed up, he played a bit more conservatively last season, I think in part to try and avoid injuries and if he plays smarter and safer, while reqularly doing the unexpected, I think he'll be around for a very long time.

I absolutely love everybody continues to underrate a guy like Andy Reid and how much of a critical factor he is to that team. The Chiefs were a joke before Andy got there, But the only problem was they had a real ceiling with Alex Smith as a quarterback. Once Patrick Mahomes took over, sky was the limit. It's been shown that you can have an all-time great quarterback but if your coaching staff is not fully sound then it will still be a struggle. Steve Spagnola is arguably one of the best defensive minds in the league and he isn't going anywhere and that's massive for that Chiefs defense too.

if you look at the demeanor of QBs on the field and what they do and are willing to do, I genuinely think Patrick Mahomes simply wants to win more than the other QB in the game. He is the greatest ever, because, no matter the circumstances, no moment is too big for him. He can't be intimidated, and he works harder than his peers. Allen is cursed with the "hero" complex, meaning he will always take too big of a chance in the most pressure packed conditions. Jackson deflates when the game is on the line, for much the same reason. Little Joe is NOT as athletic as Mahomes, and thinks that because the Chiefs take them too lightly, he can sneak victories when they play them. He has stupidly created enough animosity along with his other nitwit teammates to put a target on the Bengals for the Chiefs. Burrow cannot stand up to the rigors of the NFL season, and will never be a top flight QB, because of it.

Burrow is obviously a contender, but Allen is too. Allen's gone as close to toe to toe with Mahomes as anyone. He's come out on the wrong side of it, but A. there's no shame in that, and B. so has everyone. Allen elevates his game in the playoffs in a way we've only seen a couple QBs in history manage. Why does this one acronym seem to confuse so many people? GOAT is Greatest of All Time, so why on Earth are people jumping to conclusions and handing out the title to players who aren't even likely half way through their careers? If someone is trying to make the argument that what Mahomes has achieved so far in his career already makes him the greatest than they are saying winning 3 super bowls is more impressive than winning 7. Afterall were talking careers, now is there a chance Mahomes some day will take the crown? Sure but even for a player as good as him the odds are not stacked in his favor. I mean think about it he will need to win basically a superbowl every 3 years on average to be in Brady's territory. That may seem feasible to some considering he has 3 at the age of 28 but in truth he is at that age where it's going to get harder and harder each year that goes bye. If you really want to get into it even his 3 so far are less impressive than brady's first 3 as Mahomes has had an overwhelming advantage offensively to what Brady had. Not only has he had much better weapons around him to throw to but he also has had the advantage the modern NFL offers him with their consistent attempts over the years to make playing defense harder and harder. 7 RINGS! That really is all need be said. The crazy thing is despite actually being the opposite people try and take credit away from Brady claiming he was so good because of Bill Belichick and giving some to the coach while simultaneously claiming the opposite with Mahomes and Andy Reid. It's crazy because they actually have it backwards. How did each coach fare during those seasons where these QB's didnt play? Belichick has a losing record in his coaching career with any other QB under Center while Reid has a good winning record without Mahomes. That alone should show if a coach is to be given more credit than a QB it would have to be Mahomes and Ried. Think of this for a second the teams with the most super bowl wins in NFL history are the Steelers & Patriots each having 6, 49ers & cowboys are next with 5. Yet Tom Brady has 7! That's more on his own than any team has had total in their history (not to mention for obvious reasons you can't even count New England in that). Come back to us in a decade and we will see where it stands but as of now Mahomes has a long, long, very long way to go before having a chance to take the crown. People do the same shit in baseball where there have actually been people trying to claim Ohtani is already a hall of famer and already the GOAT lol. Why wouldn't that make logical sense? After all he has 225 career homeruns, Ho hum just a good 537 back of the all time leader. lol That's a full clear, cut and dry first ballot hall of famers total difference.

In 10 minutes not once did you mention any of the skills he possesses that make him so good on the field.
@TripleDS8 ай бұрын
He has a cannon for an arm, he can make a defender miss thus giving him extra time to find the open man, his ability to read defenses gets better every year. I could go on and on I didn’t add much to my video about how good he himself is on the field because this info is a given even if you only watch highlights, I wanted to look beyond the obvious to see if there’s more to it than meets the eye 👁️

This is so goofy there’s only 1 answer and it’s decision making there’s a guy in the league that can do all the things he can do physically. It’s his brain and his ability to make the right decision over and over. Other QBs make excuses mahomes makes good decisions until other QBs stop blaming everyone else for their mistakes mahomes will keep winning

I have the answer to aome of the reason why he is so good atleast in the playoffs and superbowl the eefs is a big teason why abd luck he plays teans with injurys out the ass bills had there 3rd and 4th string defense out thwre vs kc miami was riddled wirh injurys bobody ever brings that up and then the 3rd part is xuachjng and skill but it aint 100 oercent mahome thats for sure thise are facts ans chiefs fans gate fact thaf prove them wrong i kniw the chiefs stand by answer when they are proven wrong js rings well keep telling every one that it wont last for ever then kc will go back to being the scrub team they was before mahomes and alex smith got there if mt team had help from the regs in the playoffs they would probably gave a couple rings also

Do you mean beaten him in the Regular Season? Because Allen has never beaten Mahomes in the Post Season, 0-3 to be precise. FYI, Mahomes is 74-22 in the Regular Season & 15-3 in the Post Season. That makes Mahomes 89-25 career with 4 SB appearances in 5 years, 3 SB W'S & 3 SBMVP'S.
