'We are very lucky they are very, VERY &^%$ING stupid!' 'RuZZian Warship, GO &^%$ YOURSELF!' 'We will Resist & Bite because we are all in-sight!' SLAVA UKRAINE! UNTIL IT IS DONE, WE SHALL ENDURE! FOR THOSE WE CHERISH! *FOR US ALL!* Pufin the Poisoner wanted to strangle Ukraine & make it a DMZ on the World Stage but now it is Ukraine that is strangling RuZZia slowly while NATO plays Referees. As long as we give Ukraine the 3-B's of WAR Beans-Bullets-Bandages, they will keep kicking Pufin's RuZZia in the balls FOR US. The only thing I love more then USA kicking RuZZia's &^% is seeing us pay their Cousin to do it FOR US ALL. I have a good friend named Slava. No, I didn't know the meaning of his name before it became a Global Rallying Battle-Cry. We celebrated his home-village's liberation last September. I have no doubt that Ukriane will prevail against the RuZZian Orcish Horde. My only worry is we might not have the Willpower to continue supplying Ukraine with Everything they need to recapture & control Crimea. This began with Crimea & this will end in Crimea. Melitopol soon, then the Southern-Front. Destroy the Crimean Bridge & then repel the Black Sea Fleet. Siege Crimea & strategically target ANY military targets. I don't know how they would do it but I would deport any Russian Citizens who were 'resettled' by Russia in Crimea. I absolutely understand that some Ukrainians & Russians have married & have families in Ukraine & Crimea. I only wish Pufin did. He still rolled tanks across the border & seized the Z.P.P. _despite_ the many Russians & Ukrainians who stood infront of the Tanks. This will be a Black-Stain on Russia's soul for the next +100 years. Pufin the Poisoner will burn in purgatory for all eternity for the countless war-crimes he's caused by his own hand. Crimea by October 2023!!! RESIST & BITE! 💪

As a Ukrainian, I'd like to add some corrections to this nevertheless a good video: 1 There is and was no civil war in Donbass (it was russian invasion, where they have been acting like terrorists in civil uniform, supporting local gangs with money and weapons) 2 Kyiv, not Kiev (Kiev is how russians call it in russian to humiliate it and state that it is "their" city) 3 There are and were no radical nationalists in our government, the parties have not received enough votes and single politicians were not supported. There are not more such radicals in our country, than in any average European country.

I was in Odessa in 2008 when my ship, USS McFaul, participated in joint exercises with Ukraine's Navy. The goal was to determine what steps they needed to take in order to be on par with NATO member navies. I shared some time chatting with a trio of Ukrainian midshipmen, who I've been wondering about since this thing kicked off. Are they still fighting? Are they alive? Are they dead? I can only pray they're alright and fighting back.

It seems the Ukrainian navy can't do much at sea, I haven't heard of any ship losses except one captured as it was abandoned by the crew, probably because they're no use if they just get blown up seeing as they have no chance in hell against the Russian navy. They want to replace the USA dollar from the world reserve currency ...which is a bigger threat than even nukes to the future of the world..So we need to either A) makes this war too costly to China, so they stopped funding Russia, or we need to prepare for that Financial parallel system. If we make this Russian war where they are not even sending soldiers to, painful to China, they may second-guess invading Taiwan for now... give more time to build up defenses they need their own Iron Dome and Beyond

One of the things that I think is an unintended consequence for Russia of this invasion is that they showed that their military is just not very good. Poor logistics, poor training, unmaintained or obsolete equipment, and troops who aren't really motivated is not something that send shivers down the spines of any of their future opponents. While the overall numbers of tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, and troops sounds impressive, if it is breaking down, out out of fuel, and your troops are hungry, well, you don't last very long. A tank out of gas is simply an artillery piece in the wrong place. Russia may eventually take Ukraine, but keeping it is something they won't be able to do. And afterward any attempts at bullying are going to be met with "Bring it."

Despite the terrible cost this war is taking on the Ukrainian people, it may be beneficial to the rest of the world that is aligned against Russia, China, and their crony nations. If what was considered the world's second most powerful military has faired this poorly, then I suspect their neighbors will be much more inclined towards standing firm, in the knowledge that they _can_ extract an untenable price from the invader.

@@billzhao1346 Another problem I've seen a number of Russian expatriates say is that it is a virtual tradition in Russia to tell your superiors what they want to hear. So telling your regimental commander that your equipment is virtually unusable, or that your field rations are bad doesn't happen. By the time any report gets to the top, it's been massaged, gilded, reworded, and polished so that what the top person hears is not even close to reality, and no one dares tell the person at the top that they're wrong.

@@jamesharding3459 Consider that in early 1990, Iraq was considered to have the 4'th largest military in the world, with the most recent Soviet weaponry. Then remember how long they lasted. I would bet right now most of their neighbors are looking at the current performance of the Russian military and are not terribly worried about how they'd do against them. Even if Russia takes Ukraine, they'll have been bled pretty badly in the doing of it, and given the massive damage their economy is taking and going to take, they're not going to be recovering from that for a long time.

He is also trying to make some in english so many can understand it. It would also be interesting how Ukraine would have looked like if Wilhelm Franz von Habsburg-Lothringen would become King in Ukraine because he was beloved by the Ukrainians because he fell in love with this country and its people. After the first world war he was trying to build a movement for Independence and an Army of Ukrainains against the Soviets but failed and the Soviets brought him to jail, treated him as a Spy - the Ukrainains built a monument of him during the war.

The goal of 2014 invasion by "green army" was to cause civil unrest and collapse still fresh and wonky pro-western Ukrainian government. Instead it created first stable government Ukraine had, caused surge of nationalism, recreation of Ukrainian army, and Ukraine seeking protection out in West. This invasion was supposed to be Russia un**cking the situation, but it seem they underestimated Ukrainians (again), and political cost of starting open war in Europe, and they actually got themself into even deeper. Also, just my opinion mind you, I have lingering feeling that the reason why China OK'd invasion, is because they want Russia to go bankrupt. This in a long run will allow them to buy out Russian government piece by piece, gaining access to all raw resources China may even need.

Ukraine's know what they're doing so much more than the Russians at this point. I just watched a civilian drone scouting a large Russian camp in the forest, flew away from the camp to get a bird's eye view moments before the camp was shelled by Ukrainian artillery. The shells were spread out, targeting specific areas of the camp, the one of the first shells directly hit a munitions dump in the camp causing a huge explosion. To me, it's pretty obvious why Russia's military is so poor. The reality is that the latest US carrier alone is over half of Russia's entire defence budget and Russia has not spent it correctly. They've spent most of it on designing new generation techs such as the T-14 MBT, SU-57 and other projects in the hope of securing funding abroad via sales. That hasn't happened which only makes it worse but what this has meant is that very little money has gone into maintaining what they do have along with training. This is why their air force is virtually non existent. Allot of their jets are probably not air worthy and then on top of that, they are worried about combining air opps with ground operations for fear of blue on blue fire. This comes from not having the data fusion/digital awareness capabilities and training to be able to quickly identify friend from foe and act quickly. Russia's ground strategy appears to be to just throw masses of low quality conscripts into areas and then shell the civilians a little bit in the hope of getting them to surrender. The only reason why Russia wasn't exposed and looked good during the Syrian conflict was because Russia stuck mainly to air operations. Their ground operations was mostly limited to small spec forces embedded with the Syrian army to help with the ground fighting. What Russia essentially did was use the Syrian army to go into and take rebel held areas after the air force had carpet bombed the population out using mostly dumb ordnance. Most people don't seem to understand just how big this is in terms of the world order. Russia's reputation as a top military power is essentially over. She will always be respected due to her large nuclear arsenal ofc but that's about it. Little more than a large North Korea with gas/oil.

Their Russian military operation does not look good at all. It looks like a 1940’s war movie with bombs and shelling, the equivalent of throwing rocks, to force folks out of buildings, from a training scene. With that nuclear arsenal, think again. Russia often threatens with a nuclear attack, but it is the only country that threatens directly with words or theoretical exercises whose course is reported in the media. Any other country that wants to show that it has nuclear weapons ready for use simply detonates them on a firing range. A nuclear warhead supposedly needs to be replaced every 10 years (I don't know if this is true). In addition, the fuel in rockets has to be replaced every few years. The rockets themselves should also be serviced at least once a year. On top of that, you have to service the launchers, silos, all the electronics and communications systems. If even their aircraft are in such a sorry state, why should we think that they have managed to invest billions of dollars in keeping their nuclear structures in good working order? There is a good chance that Russia does not have a single operational nuclear missile. Putin is a man who built his KGB career on his skill at bluffing. As president, he also bluffed often. Why should it be any different with nuclear weapons?
@StevenSmith-mk5fg
@StevenSmith-mk5fg 2 жыл бұрын
@@orkako NATO can't go into Ukraine as Russia's doctrine does allow for the use of tactical battlefield weapons. What would end up happening is that NATO and Russia exchange tactical nuke on Ukrainian soil. This is partly why Putin is so desperate to have a buffer zone between Russia and NATO. It's so that if there is ever conflict, the tactical nukes will be on someone else's territory where a nuclear stalemate would the be called on both sides. This is where the bluff is coming in. Russia's doctrine only allows for strategic nuclear weapons in Russia's sovereignty/government's existence is under threat.

One of my siblings believes that there was a referendum for independence in Donbass and that I am an idiot for believing propaganda. When I told him that there was a very good chance that Russian troops went incognito to the region he dismissed it as propaganda. When I told him that Russia dropped Willie Pete (white phosphorus) he didn't believe me and after he checked, he said it was on military targets and thus not a warcrime. I showed him a song I learned (it was Erika so that's my fault, I thought it was pretty) and he had an intervention because he is worried I'm going down a rabbit hole because Ukranians are mainly far right nazis and I side with them. I shared some of Zelensky's comedy routines and he informed me that Zelensky is a puppet for the West. I told him he got 73% of the vote. You guessed it, that was propaganda too. I don't know what to do... I'm enlisting to the army of our country so I can help by fighting in Ukraine but I know he will NOT share my thoughts. He hates war but sadly his interpretation of "appropriate invasion response" is to avoid battle and surrender. I fear he is too naive for this world... Edit-> When the war started our family talked about it at length. He was the only one who didn't approve of our country sending (pathetically little) aid. He said he'd rather there be no war at all. When pressed for it, he suggested they surrender.

There are many who are brainwashed, they will not change. Trying is useless. They are of an opinion which they believe in so firmly they cannot accept any evidence to the contrary if it was put in front of them in a multi hour long full presentation of why they are wrong. They will dismiss it as mere propaganda. Many can be convinced one way or the other if you give them the full evidence, but a great many people can never change. There is always a hardline for every party, and that applies to seemingly any opinion. There are always those who can never drop it. It doesn't help that often it is information spread without proof in meme format, and will be assumed as true. Then when you prove them wrong, you are a sheep following the propaganda who cannot understand their idea.

I attended a great military college, VMI and was instructed by professors who served in WW2/Korea and Vietnam. I follow the news from sources world-wide. I think you are spot on pretty much everywhere. However the situation has changed. If the Russians try to pull too much from the West around Kiev, and move East to hit and try and secure the Eastern areas of Ukraine and trap the Ukrainian army which has held the line facing the Russians to the East. I honestly believe the Ukrainians in the West will follow and hit them from behind and if they can hit hard enough and fast enough, they may cause a route and see the Russians collapse inside the country. While they might actually clear the country of Russians for the most part, I think retreating Russians may sabotage Chernobyl and the Zaporizhzhia

It’s amazing to think this was just the start of the first round and Ukraine would go on to hold Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, that they would liberate all of Kharkiv and retake Kherson, the raising of the Ukrainian flag in Izyum, the sinking the Moskva, neutralizing snake island and planting the flag there, forcing mobilization in Russia… I have no doubt Ukraine will achieve complete military victory in Ukraine and there is nothing Putin realistically can or will be able to do about it.

"When taken as a geopolitical situation, its one huge grey area with both Russia and the West treating Ukraine like a football" This summarizes what's going on perfectly really. It reminds me of Czechoslovakia during WW2 when Germany demanded the Sudetenland and both sides trying to decide what will happen, and then Germany just annexing the entire country and the west doing basically nothing about it. Then Germany turned to Poland and from there everything went to absolute shit. All you have to do is replace Czechoslovakia with Ukraine and Poland with Finland, and we have a very scary future if what is happening right now continues. "You can't start a war over some verbal agreement made before most of your own soldiers where even born" ~ Alternate History Hub Fuck Putin for starting this war and fuck NATO and US for not doing shit about it. Its literally appeasement all over again

Well, the analogy holds up... right up to the point where the Czechs somehow ground the whole Wehrmacht to a stop and the west proceeded to blow up the german economy in response. Russia ain't gonna be able to do shit to FInland at this rate, too busy to not fully implode. NATO and the US are doing everything short of literally committing to a *nuclear* war. Flooding Ukraine with weapons, aid and volunteers while burning Russia's economy to the ground with economic warfare is about as far as they can go without getting us on the short track to the literal end of civilization.

It's ridiculous that youtube objected to your first edit. I'll repeat what I said on that. I'd been searching the news in vain for some militarily and historically informed analysis of what is going on in Ukraine, before finally finding yours. The news outlets seem to be focused on clickbait. No analysis of what is happening and why. Your video answered most of my questions. I'm still utterly mystified by the failure of the Russian air force. How can it be that they still do not have air superiority? How is it possible that Ukrainian communications networks are not blacked out? Maybe, as you say (?), they've held back. It may be very rusty, but I still would have thought the Russian air force could achieve that with a healthy error margin. Jesus. A hot war in the Ukraine. With NATO air assets providing support (likely), severe Russian casualties, a steady flow of spanking new American weapons, devastating urban and then insurgent conflict in sight. Eventually a Russian leadership potentially feeling existentially threatened ... Scary times. I don't think the danger of a nuclear exchange has been this great since 1960.
