I have to say I really like David being involved in the community. To know the lead guy in charge is slogging through the bayou with us is invigorating. Its nice to know that yes, the devs DO play their game and they know our frustrations. It gives hope for the future of hunt

I like it, but I feel like I have to use special ammo with it. I prefer it when the base gun feels good enough and special ammo is just a bonus, not a necessity.

Well it isn't a peashooter, it hits pretty hard for a rapid fire pistol with FMJ/Dumdum. Not as hard as a spitfire though, and it's quite a bit more likely to miss due to velocity, so the spitfire/officer is generally better.

IRL it's too diverse for that time frame. There's not one blonde haired blue eyed male in the game that I'm aware of. Women didn't even fight in the civil war yet for the Bayou they all turned into trained killers overnight with the physical strength of males. And there's all this edgy borderline Antifa looking hooded satanist/anarchist characters. However, It's a fantasy game where you kill zombies and creatures so whatever... but it's obvious that it's still diversity for the sake of diversity. At least it's not like that one WW2 game that has black female Nazis running around in multiplayer 😂😆😂😆

The new army as a gun feels so much better than it has any right to. It sounds good, feels good, and looks good with those lovely animations. Even if it can feel like your bullets just poof into mid air sometimes, I can’t deny that it feels good to click heads with.

Once you get over that learning curve of muzzle velocity, the new army really does feel amazing, even over officer pistol

I’ve always had a fascination with the new army because of how good all of its stats are (minus the muzzle velocity.) Really solid damage, a great reload, and can use FMJ or Dum Dum. FMJ for a Centennial pairing or Dum Dum with the Springfield. A lot of really good potential but you absolutely MUST get used to the rather slow bullet speed (especially with FMJ.)

I found your videos via the weapon review series when I was still a new joiner to hunt, which helped me move away from the winfield and find my current favorite being the sparks, I dont usually view your game play content but I really enjoy your state of the game and QA videos, congrats on getting to where you are and hopefully you can grow the channel in a way that you like and enjoy.

As a Brazilian player I'm so happy with this DLC! Our community is absolutely passionate about the game, and Beatriz is just PERFECT! Not only she's a CUTIE, her lore is also really thought out mixing the Hunt's lore with our Folklore (good job crytek!). I can't wait to see more Latin American hunters, seeing that we have the infamous Amazon Rain Forest, the only place more dangerous than the Bayou itsfelf. (PERHAPS A FULL EXPANSION AND MAP TAKING PLACE HERE???? OMG I WISH)

New army is one of my go to pistols, just because it covers for the lack of fire rate that some weapons have. Slow muzzle velocity doesn't matter too much when you are close to an enemy where slow fire rate doesn't work. Nice video as always man!

I really like how this character is not one of the more recent dark clothed, face covered Hunters - those are seriously cool skins and I love them, but nice to see something brighter - more fun playing with them. I call it the no harmy because of its lack of range and velocity but I've always understood the potential of it as a close quarters weapon. With the addition of a speed loader I will probably make this my go-to pistol from now on due to its quick firerate and reload. You should make a video covering how all the different explosives work. I think that'd be a fun one to cover and really help new players. I think a surprising amount of people are unaware that waxed dynamite doesn't get put out by choke bombs. Gotten plenty of kills because someone would choke a nade hole and I just lob one of those through. They hear it cook, assume the choke will protect them, then boom. Dead.

Since it came out, it has a little bit broken animation while in dual wield. When you reload them after using hand ejector and wait just a little bit after loading fresh rounds in it, the game will render more rounds in the cylinder then in UI, namely +1 per each gun.

I’ve been experimenting with different loadouts lately and I’ve found two new favorite pistols: the New Army and the Nagant Officer-fast firing and low recoil for a solid price.

I’ve largely run the new army alongside either a bomb lance or alongside a long rifle I wouldn’t trust up close, but that pistol can do some work at most ranges in spite of being a compact pistol with low muzzle velocity. I still remember one time I managed to hit somebody who was sniping my team between the Lumber Mill and Weeping Stone with it. Maybe in the future I’ll use it with fmj a little more to try hitting people through cover like you did a few times in the video.

I’ve always loved the new army because I’m a prestiger. The scottfield is the best pistol available at bloodline 1 and it has a similar muzzle velocity. Also I don’t know if anyone noticed but in the dev livestream they had the new army swift but didn’t say anything about it

New army is insane, especially with fmj. The officer does have a few extra shots and a bit more bullet velocity but overall in practice they are both excellent pistols in a pinch.

I stopped playing for about a year and thought the S&W Model 3 and the Colt New Army you’ll be great additions to the game. I came back to find out they both got added and I was so happy. The new army might have a slow bullet and sound kinda wimpy, but seeing that swing out cylinder never lets me down.
