Why Is The New Hummer An EV?!? (2025 GMC Hummer EV 3X SUV)

I'm not defending the Hummer EV but compare the weight to a 3/4 Ton truck. Pretty much identical. Guys making statements like I'm afraid of bridges? Seriously. Fully loaded 18 wheelers are up to 80,000 LBS!!!!! MILLIONS are on the ROAD NOW in EVERY town in America. I like the EV's but we are in the 1st Gen stage of them. They need refinement and much greater infrastructure before I jump.

The problem is that there are parking garages that may be in risk of collapsing due to the weight of EVs. There was one parking garage in NY that had recently collapsed.

Just got a Hummer 2x Ev last week and love it. I never thought I would own an Ev. This changed my mind. I dont have to travel a lot. So it's perfect for me.

@@leauxfi673 It depends on what model you get. I pay $1100. I think was a good deal. Took me about 3 weeks to find the right dealer and pricing.

I drove the pickup truck version of the 2025 Ben and this Beast is Huge and very fun to drive, the crab 🦀 walk is amazing 🤩🤩🤩

I totally agree with you Ben about the engine. 9,000#’s is (lol) weigh too heavy!!! I’d be very concerned about going over bridges, etc.

@mr.dannielchandler3774 Not even a concern - as a RST owner. Low center of gravity helps alot. Towing is super easy with the mass in the tow vehicle. I have driven about 1200 miles this past month I spent $70 at home charging. Diesel is not even close to that number. lol at the passing concern.

I Think Ur On To Something Regarding The Diesel Incorporation For The Hummer. I Would Go Down That Road w/ Creating A Hybrid Model Consisting Of Diesel & EV. The Government Should Not Be Pushing Mandates On EV Cars. EV’s Are Nothing But Hazards That Will Take Unnecessary Time To Charge, Too Damn Expensive & Safety Concerns Related To Crime. Who Has 3Hrs To Waste Charging When You’re Traveling Or Simply Going To Work. Keep In Mind Most People Commute 1 - 2Hrs Daily Coming @ Going. Who Has 3 Extra Hrs To Waste Trging To Get Home Or Traveling On A Road Trip. Mandate Hybrids In The Future Not EV’s. Keep Gas & Incorporated Electricity For Neccessity When Gas Runs Out. @BEN.. The Hummer SUV has about 800 hp. The Pick up has 1000. Do your research before reviewing a vehicle you do not have details on. I own one and love it.
