Why is there chocolate in the gearbox of this 1986 Range Rover?! Should the transmission fluid really look like chocolate sauce? One thing's for sure though, it needs a good clean! 😂

To elaborate on this overtly in case it's intentional by someone in the production - when I follow KZbin creators I like, (like Edd China!) I set myself to be notified so I can be sure to watch every video. When superfluous videos or notifications are inserted, it makes me less likely to watch, and more likely to turn off notifications on that channel. 10 out of 10 times I would rather a creator wait to upload, than repost old stuff. If this is an algorithm play it risks alienating the core fan base and that is a questionable decision long term.

Edd, we've all supported you and 1m subscribers looked very possible so please don't insult our loyalty and intelligence by pushing out material that is clearly re-used and more disappointingly out of context for us followers expecting to know how the chassis work is progressing. True, its so frustrating. I remember watching Wheeler dealers on exam nights and then going sleepless to give my exams. It is sad that the videos have no chronology. AskEdd series is not for me, and seems to be randomly uploaded or put in between of workshop videos. Titles usually don't depict which vehicles is worked upon, and there are no vehicles wise proper playlist.

Yep. Going to lose his base if he keeps this up. I really don't understand. He had a good thing going and then just stopped. I do understand production, etc but why not add a JOIN button so we can contribute? Why not make a video and actually explain to your fanbase what is going on? All this sort of thing does is change my perspective and vision of who Edd is and what he is about. Simple 20-30 minute videos without all the flash and editing of just working in that garage are great. Just go with it.

As others have said and are saying, there is obviously something badly wrong with this channel, we all sincerely hope it is nothing to do with Edd personally or in his personal life. Edd, I have met and talked to you on occasions at car shows, and always thought that you were one of the best guys in the industry, always having time for your fans. You give out the vibe that you read all the comments, if so, now is the time for a quick post just to let us all know what is going on. The problem is, we are all spoilt for choice now on KZbin as regards car and restoration content. There are fantastic channels such as M539 Restorations to name but one that set the bar very high now. Subscription is free, so I see no real mileage in the "I'm unsubscribing, so there", reaction, but as others have commented, I am pretty glad I'm not a Patreon. Oh Edd, this is getting embarrassing now. Over a month ago, I posted a respectful comment on your banana cocktail reupload to suggest that you might want to keep your many subscribers on-board by letting them know the reasons for the lack of fresh content. I felt that, without any communication explaining why this was the case, your loyal audience would become disillusioned and fall away or unsubscribe; sadly, from the comments that I read below this latest reupload, this is happening. I can’t fathom this out. Knowing that there’s been no new content this year, surely you, or one of the other workshop crew, must have read all the comments expressing collective disappointment? And if that is the case, then to still not provide any answers as to why this situation prevails strikes me as disrespectful of your audience. Once the audience falls away, so will the sponsors, and then it’s game over.

Edd, now you've learn't to use a broom handle to remove hex bolts, don't suppose you could do a video on attacking snapped, rounded and seized bolts. Also, tips on what sort of replacement bolts to use when OEM bolts are so difficult to seek. Would be helpful for the weekend mechanic to hear, especially when my car seems to round most things off these days.
