Very nice model. The only thing I would change is the layout of the bedroom. I do agree the windows need to be reconfigured.

Only using one window on that wall in the bedroom, and running it horizontal above the headboard, will solve the problem of the headboard blocking the windows… it’s also trendy now to have a long horizontal window, typically higher up. I wish companies would be more transparent & just list prices, it’s not even on their site, it turns people away when you don’t mention a price, because it’s clear the seller either raises the price on certain people or knows the price will turn people off and wants to be able to talk people into buying it, by forcing them to call for info.
@50pluslife3602 ай бұрын
Appreciate your concern on the pricing issue, but that's not the case here. Sounds like you're describing ITH's pricing strategy. The issue with giving pricing is three fold for us. First, we are not manufacturers or dealers, we just post tours of the houses. We go to multiple dealers and manufacturers. If the dealer or manufacturer requests us to not post prices, then we simply don't. Second is obviously time vs inflation. We may post a video this month with a price and two years down the road, someone sees the video and expects that price. That's not fair to the dealer or manufacturer, especially with inflation like it is. Third, with Phoenix in particular, they are a relatively new builder and are at this point able to customize so many things that it makes it tough to just say "here's the price". This model was already sold, so out of respect to the new owner, we would not disclose the purchase price. Phoenix offers 5 different porch options, 17 roof colors, 3 floor choices, 3 wall choices, paint vs stain, gas option, etc. So the best course for anyone truly interested is to call/text Ryan directly and discuss. 99% of people who complain about "no price" aren't even in the market for a tiny home, or are ready to buy right now anyway. Suffice to say, most of their home configurations would easily come in under 100k, which is where we as a channel like to film.

@@50pluslife360 It seems like you’re offended, and I can’t understand why you would be if you’re not affiliated with Phoenix. My comment was not directed at you, I obviously know you aren’t the builder/manufacturer. My comment was directed at Phoenix, hence my mentioning their website and complete lack of transparency regarding prices. You seem to have an issue with ITH, however despite the reasons you gave for not being able to give prices, ITH is from my experience, very transparent. Regarding inflation and such causing prices to go up, most other companies, at least ones that aren’t afraid to mention pricing, typically mention in videos “at the time of uploading, the home is going for (such and such amount) but the price can change”… just to give people an idea of the price range. I have contacted ITH before because despite your claims that 99% of people complaining about prices not being listed aren’t actually looking to buy a tiny home (not sure where those stats came from🤔), I actually AM looking to buy a tiny home, TWO tiny homes in fact (one for my husband and I and another for my in laws), and I found ITH to be very transparent in pricing and in no way did they try to upsell me at all, their website even listed the prices of homes (which I’m told they keep updated to be up to date on current prices) as well as the price for every single additional amenity they offer… so I know it’s possible for companies to list prices even if they offer additional amenities. This tiny home you’re showing was of particular interest to me, because I have to think of my in laws needs, the one floor layout is better for them. And while other tiny home builders offer one floor layouts, I personally liked this one the best… but I don’t trust companies that hide prices from buyers, I jut don’t trust them and I think a lot of people feel the same way… whether they’re of the 99% or the 1%. Have a good day.

No ma’am no offense taken. We often wish we could give prices as much as our audience wants to know them. Phoenix is just in a precarious position at the moment as they are a relatively new builder whose goal is to build a dealer network but they can and do have to sell directly until the network is in place. Dealers are a finicky bunch so most of the concern about providing prices revolves around that. They are more than happy to provide prices if you consider contacting them. Glad your experience with ITH has been positive and if you decide to buy from them we hope it continues. Our concern for our viewers was that ITH would advertise a price on their website and then go on KZbin and run a ‘special’ but someone who bought a day or two earlier was not offered the same special even though it would be months before their house construction was even started. They have even said on their videos that sales can’t keep straight with what is said on KZbin. So we just caution everyone to do their due diligence and homework before committing their hard earned life savings to a company. Just common sense. Many of our regular viewers know we are getting close to downsizing and considering an RV park model if things work out. Although we like a few of ITH Amish builds (Birmingham and Amanda) we feel that for nearly half the price we can get a park model of equal quality with an actual delivery date from a transparent builder such as Phoenix or a couple others we have profiled on our channel. Thanks for your feedback and we hope you stick with us! We wish you the best on your tiny adventure!

Because if they used small windows people would complain that it is too dark in the space. Can’t please everyone so they have to take those decisions. You likely could get yours with small windows if you’d like.

All you have to do is call Ryan at Phoenix and he will work a price up for whatever model and options you want. They are new to the scene so to speak, so they don't have specific spec'd out models. Essentially everything is customized both for customers or to showcase their options, so providing pricing on any given model is a little impractical for them.

Cool! You are doing well without poop jokes, now take it next level by not talking about not telling poop jokes - just focus on the homes. I went to PBS website, and the websites of their three dealers - I was expecting more info but your video just about had more details. Since most shoppers begin their selection process online maybe you can suggest to Ryan that he upgrade his company web presence. You might consider adding the manufacturer website floor plan and dimensions to your videos, it looked like PBS had floor plans for all their models on their website.
@50pluslife3602 ай бұрын
Thanks for your feedback! Ryan is browsing all the comments so I’m sure he’ll do what he can. Also check out the interview with Phoenix as it serves to answer a lot of questions as well. We’ve had mixed results with adding floor plans in our videos. We often put them on our community page if a dealer gives us a handout but if a company has them on their website we just usually link to that. We may try it again in the future. Thanks again and thanks for watching!

The contact info for Ryan is in the video. Basically this particular one has sold already, and they have so many options for customization that it's difficult to just give a price. Ryan at Phoenix can walk you through pricing and options relatively easily. Let's just say Phoenix homes are VERY affordable. Their typical prices are well below 100k.

From their website ALL Park Models/Tiny Homes are known as ADU's and are not to be used as permanent dwellings.
@50pluslife3602 ай бұрын
Yes, that's a fact, according to law. ANSI-119 requires it for all RV Park Model homes manufactured to that standard. It is a posting that ALL manufacturers are supposed to post clearly in two places - in the home and in the sales contract. What you choose to do with the home after you buy it is your business. It's like the warning label on a pack of cigarettes. You're still going to smoke them after you buy them (if you're a smoker).

Good thing they'll work with what client wants... Again those wire hanging fixture brackets will NOT hold alot of weight...they'll bend & collapse, pull right out of the wall.😮 Cosmetically, they just look cheap, because they are.😢
@50pluslife3602 ай бұрын
The wire shelving depends totally on how they are installed. We just installed some in a spare closet in our kitchen to use as an appliance garage. One shelf has an insta-pot, a toaster oven, a waffle griddle and a cotton candy maker and it is not bending at all. Mr. Chubby could set his fat butt on there too and it will still stay in the wall. They have to be installed, braced and secured correctly. Plus, there are two different designs - a light duty and a heavy duty. I'm sure Phoenix would install wooden shelves and a wooded closet rod if you'd like.
