I didn't even bother. Finished 75% of the quests there by the time I hit 25, I don't care for PvP and I have 200 gold. That's 5% of my entire net worth just to be a LITTLE faster in one zone only

its for the event to make it to the other fights quicker to get the rep faster. and having revered (maybe exalted) is very worth it and very easy to acquire. plus 10 gold is not hard to come by so why not

Season of Discovery introduced an outdoor PvP event in Ashenvale and since Ashenvale is a pretty big zone you can get a mount that increases your movespeed by 50%. Participating in the event earns you rep with your factions Warsong Gulch reputation and at friendly you can buy the mount. The mount only works in Ashenvale.

Another note is that you don't get a mount till level 40 SOD max level is 25 right now so it's one of the only rideable mounts.

@@saintysandy You can technically get a 60% movespeed mount by using the Perserved Holly winterveil item while on a flight path. When you land you'll be on a 60% reindeer mount until you dismount.
