It has changed so many lives for the better and brought them closer to Jesus, including myself, my family, and many of my friends. This is THE MOST God-breathed depiction about Jesus I have ever seen! And I'm in my later 60s! I have watched the first season repeatedly and tonight I got to see the first episode of season 2 and my head blew off! What a wonderful Outreach tool to give people an idea how affable and kind and yet powerful Jesus would have been when he was here in the flesh! It is so real and so beautiful and deep! This show has to be inspired by the divine. Every episode moves me to tears. It touches your soul. It brings the characters in the Bible to life and humanizes them in a way that is relatable. Jonathan Roumie who plays Jesus must be truly touched by God as I feel like Jesus is speaking when he speaks. No other show about the life of Christ has touched me this way. I have lost count of the many times I have rewatched this fantastic series. I just started all over a couple nights ago. Things going on in my life are totally out of my control and my soul needs a refreshing boost. My spirit still reacts to every miracle, tears still stream and when the one episode I am watching goes off, I fight the urge to watch another. I savor it in my mind and just try to put myself into the first century and follow Jesus. But the cool thing is I may be really seeing Jesus very soon! He's coming back !!!!

Jonathan Roumie has played the role so naturally..I am so blessed to watch this chosen episodes..I cried literally in every episodes😭❣.It touched my heart ...and the expressions he makes is so powerful ....My perspective for Jesus has changed in an awesome manner❤❤... All the characters who played the part of disciples they are also awesome..now it's very clear to me how Jesus disciples were..

I absolutely LOVE The Chosen! I have purchased several copies and given them to family! My favorite scene is between Nicodemus and Jesus. When he kneels and kisses Jesus' hand and quote Psalm 2 I weep every time! I love how compassionate and kind Jesus is portrayed. Jonathan Roumie is superb!

I can't see anyone else play Jesus but Jonathan. I feel like I am actually with him. That may sound strange but I am gripped so tightly & my heart ❤ is so full watching all the cast but when Jesus talks, I have a very visceral reaction. My eye's well up, I get very emotional, I cry, my heart is full & my soul is touched in an amazing way. Thank you Everyone at The Chosen. That beautiful song "I keep falling in love with Him, over and over and over and over again" describes to a T the effect The Chosen has so far had on me personally. I have been on the Mountain many times, but I have also been in the valley more times than I can remember. This show is a beautiful, gentle and oftentimes humorous reminder of how our Lord Jesus Christ is THERE, right where we are. He is not a distant, untouchable God, He walked with His disciples, experienced life as they did, only He was without sin. He knew the Cross was waiting, yet He was driven by Love for sinners such as myself to carry out His mission. He is sill here, He lives in each one of His born again disciples. HE LIVES, and I keep falling in love with Him over and over and over and over again.... Thank you Dallas and Jonathan and all the other cast members, for the presenting the essence of the Gospel in such a beautiful and touching way. May our Father bless, protect and cover each and every one of you with His divine and endless love, and bring many searching souls to Jesus Christ through this very powerful evangelism tool.
