I couldn't agree more, but where are the other approximately 140 House Republicans that should be standing beside Kinzinger and Cheney? Why are they NOT upholding their oath of office? At minimum, AOC is right on this point: the House members that requested Pardons should be banned from the House permanently. Requesting a pardon requires you to admit guilt. They have no defense for what they did to attack America's democracy. Removing them from any form of political power is the least punishment they should suffer.

Third parties don't seems to work so well for us, because they split the vote. Didn't that happen in 1968, and that's how we got Nixon? The parliamentarian systems in Europe that use these coalitions of parties seem to work, but I don't know if USA can get used to a new system. We're just hanging on by our nails right now. I live in Representative Kinzinger's district here in IL (16th District) and while I do not share his political bent, I will say that he has stood up for the American people through these hearings. Unfortunately he lived in the southern end of his district and when the Congressional districts were redrawn this last year, he no longer resides in the 16th district and would be forced to run in a different district already represented by a veteran house member of his party. He opted to retire. I would love to see him step up to the plate and run for President.

She was present for all of the pertinent happenings that she testified to since the election.
