This video was one hell of a monster to put together, but I’m proud for challenging myself and getting it done as quickly as I did, even if it is here a bit later than I had hoped. Nonetheless I hope this video can serve to bring smiles to your faces during these harrowing times. Stay safe everyone. I love you all and thank you so much for your time and your support.

I'm glad other people have a love/hate relationship with this game. I hate the driving segments but overall enjoyed everything else. Also, I think that the music cutting out is a glitch with the HD version. I haven't played the PS2 version in a few years but I don't recall the music cutting out.

I got this game on sale 2 years ago in the Jack and daxter collection on ps4 for like 10 bucks and I didn't get to play it until last June and I got like a quarter of the way in before the first major boss fight and I stopped playing because it was pretty tough ngl. This was around the time where CTRNF, a game I would consider in my list of most anticipated of all time, and I just quit because I hated travelling back and forth in the main city but so far watching this has made me itching to go back and finish it cause i loved the first one

Earrape memes and lot of editing for a review video 🤔 HELL YES I WANT IT ! 😂 You got my attention but I'm still not interested in the Jak franchise, the story is interesting (complicated too) the gameplay is good (lot of variation), ... but I prefer staying with Sly Cooper 😁 As always (I mean, yes since I sub) Nice video I love ur editing, combine serious and funny stuff BELLISSIMO 😚

I like the sequels better than the first because it helps differentiate itself compared Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper.

Love your channel so much. That being said, I really have a hate relationship with this game, as I kid I liked it and found it decent, but now I can see all the flaws it has, the vehicle mechanics are hideous, the races are terrible, the dificulty spike it's hilariously bad, the story is a mess, the environments are so dull and muted, it's like playing it with 0 saturation or brightness, the tone is weird (like they tried to be serious and then Daxter comes and throws some jokes), and they throw you an overload of new stuff to do but then they forget about it (like Dark Jak). And the third entry isn't any better imho.
@MrJarheadTV4 жыл бұрын
I can 110% see why people would hate this game. Even as I played it I was like ughhhh but after just sitting on it for a while I fell in love with it. The races aren't the best but I personally didn't find them too offensive. They're definitely a bit sluggish so I can see why you wouldn't like them. I agree the story's more complicated than it needs to be. The environment's are muted as you said but I don't mind because I feel like that was by design to fit the darker tone of the game. With that said however Haven City is definitely pretty monotonous. I can also see your point about Daxter but I don't mind, I think he's great comedic relief. It is sad how they treated Dark Jak cause as I said I thought it was a great idea. I've heard mixed opinions about the 3rd game but the common conclusion seems to be it's the weakest in the series, so I'm bracing myself for that impact lol. Thank you so much for the comment it's great to hear that you're enjoying the channel so much :D

@@MrJarheadTV I personally think Jak 3 is much better than 2, since it solves all of the annoyances with the driving and the difficult, while also adding a lot of innovative gameplay for the time. I still think the first game is the best though.
@MrJarheadTV3 жыл бұрын
That's totally fair there is a lot of potential and things that Jak 3 tweaks that provides for some of the most fun in the whole franchise. However for me personally as much as it improves and fixes some things it completely neglects others and falls flat in other areas. They're all great games in their own way for sure

From Jak 1 to Jak 2 is the definition of 0 to 100 real quick. I know watching some KZbin channel and reddit comments didn't like the change. But was 10 when this game came out and thought that game was the coolest thing ever. Finally playing it. It's infuriating but satisfying to finish missions kinda like Crash 4
