Yes indeed we Filipinos are cheerful but, during this pandemic there are many Filipinos who's quite depressed right now because of it but, we don't let other people know that we're depressed so that's why we were always cheerful (not everyone whose cheerful is depressed just to clarify haha!) and yeah I agree that many Filipinos always think positive 😁👍

@@bossguapo6730 True. I'm in the part of the "center" in where a lot of concentrated cases are. I think Cebu is safe as long as your away from all those places that actually has a lot of cases. For me I even rarely go out lol maybe twice or thrice a month and as long as you limit contact outside the place you stay your good.

It has been 2 years since my fiancée (now wife) and I went to Japan to meet my Japanese sponsor. Her name is Kumi and she helped me with my schooling since when I was a kid until I finished university. Before there was no social media or email. We usually communicate via snail mail sending our regards and photos with friends and family (like around 20 years ago). When I was still in the Philippines, she usually visits once every 2-3 years. Me going to Japan was one way of thanking her for everything she has done for me. She's like my 2nd mother. We are still in touch with each other and last year she and some Japanese friends went to our wedding. I am supposed to go back to Japan for the Olympics but covid-19 happened. Hope this pandemic will end soon so everyone can travel safely again. Thank you so much 123Japan and Mana for your content. Keep up :)

I've been seeing so many KZbin videos of foreigner adoring PH and perhaps being born here and living here just makes everything normal. I can see the contrast from other countries and understand why they love being here. I am thankful at the same time reminded of how blessed I am living here. So true about my homeland, I miss the food, beaches and my relatives in Cebu. I'm happy you like the Philippines and I also like visiting Japan. My family and I always stop in Japan on the way to the Philippines, last time we stayed in Shibuya for a week. Its so expensive in Japan so we don't stay very long. My uncle(Edgar Labella) is currently the Mayor of Cebu City but right now we can't go because Cebu is in lockdown right now. I migrated to the USA when I was 12 years old way back in 1975 so I spent most of my life here in Illinois. Thank you for promoting our country of the Philippines, It may be considered a third world country but the people are great and we are blessed with the beauty of nature and a vibrant culture. I will eventually retire there and live in Cebu since my family have properties in Cebu, Dipolog and Bohol....can't wait. Take care and stay safe....btw, you do have an anime voice(awesome, love it)
