That's why a lot of Fighters do other things outside of the octagon some female Fighters do onlyfans some Fighters do twitch live streams others do podcast and KZbin videos and they supplement their income with other options. Just like Joe Rogan has said in the past the way to always stay rich or have money as he says. Is to have multiple sources of income so let's say you're making $17 at your job which is maybe three thousand a month. You can do Uber Eats on the side make an extra 1200 that's extra money in your pocket. And because of these Fighters are famous they could probably make us successful KZbin channel and podcast and easily make an extra $20,000

Under the Venum deal fighters do earn some money, as well as being able to have sponsors outside of fight week. Unfortunately, sponsors aren’t willing to pay as much, and are sometimes unwilling to sponsor a fighter at all if they aren’t getting that fight week recognition and advertisement. That’s what I meant before, not that they weren’t allowed sponsors altogether. That’s my bad. But, no fighter gets $60,000 from wearing their Venum fight gear. Fighters with 1-20 fights earn between $4,000-$16,000 on the sliding scale, with more fights meaning more earnings. Fighters with more than 21 fights earn $21,000, title contenders earn $32,000, and champions earn $42,000. Your average non champion middle of the road UFC fighter can fight 3 sometimes even 4x a year and is makjng a median/mode of $92 to $275k A FIGHT. Chito Vera, not exactly a household name for casual fans walked away with $300k for his last fight. Suga Shane OMalley got $260,000 for his last fight AND HE IS RANKED #13 IN BANTAM. Add in sponsorships which can be even more than annual salaries and bonuses? You are looking at a nice living if you live within your means. Champions and top contenders can make MILLIONS per fight with millions more per year in sponsorships. Entry level new guys with first time contracts is where the pay is seemingly bad as they can get paid as low as $10k for a fight. But these are the first free fights on an undercard and if after 3 to 5 fights and a new contract they move up to that lucrative mid range. You have to start somewhere. NOW... My reason for pointing this out is as a boxer since the age of 7 and a guy who coaches some really good amateurs I can tell you that that is Shit money and why so many guys dont want to turn pro young. If you offered one of my guys $10k to fight in a VFW hall in front of 100 people they would rip off a finger. If you think this is bad look at the ECHL hockey league most of. The players only make $500 a week come down to $2,000 a month that's only like less than $25,000 a year

They literally fight to live... They also risk so much while fighting, like their health, without that they're finished. It s not easy to be a fighter, probably the hardest thing in the world. Huge respect to all these athletes!
