@@gaur_sharan i am not asking what he said, people stand by their opinion no matter what But sometimes some people at some situations don't get nutritious vegan food or unable to find them all and cook themselves, so a few non veg food is an easy option for example if blood is less, haemoglobin and all that sht, then doctors advice to eat meat organs. it's easily available at hotels or easy to cook at home. But if we want the same nutrition from vegan food then we need to buy a lot of vegs and cook full day to get that nutrition. Thats not possible if have no time to cook like that.

I have yet to find in the Bible where Jesus ate meat. You can find examples about Abraham Isaac Jacob even Moses eating meat but I have never found a passage where Jesus ate meat.

First God created Adam and Eve he gave them fruits and grains... After they fell because of sin... since God allowed sometimes to eat meat... But that is also because of circumstances... In new testament Lord Jesus said " Thou shall not kill ". He knew he is the sacrificial lamb... but He still asked it because he wants to take us back to that pure condition again... God also says that we will rule over beasts and birds and fishes.... But ruling and Killing them for satisfying our belly is different..... PLEASE Know the difference between commandments given in circumstances AND The Real commandments which was meant for everyone and made to everyone.

I am a Christian and I like Hinduism. Have read the epics. But always have wondered is it only because Jesus was not born in India that He is not considered God by Hindus? I ask this because I feel Jesus has done many miracles including raising the dead and Jesus himself rose from death which is not possible with any common man but God.

Jesus is the God incarnate and lived a humble life and though He was innocent and sinless; was crucified to death but Jesus being sinless ressurected the third day thus ensuring that all the souls will ressurect upon the second coming of Jesus. If humans inherited sufferings and death from a person's sin caused death, then Jesus born as another man could reverse death through ressurection. Upon Jesus second coming, all the dead will rise and all the living and dead who rose would be judged on the basis of their sins, where good souls are rewarded with ETERNAL LIFE and so Jesus will end the wrong, negativity and punish the evil forces forever. In simple words, Jesus will reward every good souls with eternal life and no longer wrong, death and sufferings would exist. You might have already known this and May God bless you. This is why Jesus says “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” If what is written above is not clear, would recommend only if you are interested, to watch Passion of Christ.

Jesus was an Israeli Jew who worked in Israel among Jews. He never did any activity in IndiA among Hindus. So Hindus are not concerned with him. But yes - a Hindu can accept that Jesus is god since Hindus believe that gods incarnate in human form across the world.

Text 47 ahastāni sahastānām apadāni catuṣ-padām phalgūni tatra mahatāṁ jīvo jīvasya jīvanam Synonyms ahastāni - those who are devoid of hands; sa-hastānām - of those who are endowed with hands; apadāni - those who are devoid of legs; catuḥ-padām - of those who have four legs; phalgūni - those who are weak; tatra - there; mahatām - of the powerful; jīvaḥ - the living being; jīvasya - of the living being; jīvanam - subsistence. Translation Those who are devoid of hands are prey for those who have hands; those devoid of legs are prey for the four-legged. The weak are the subsistence of the strong, and the general rule holds that one living being is food for another. Purport A systematic law of subsistence in the struggle for existence is there by the supreme will, and there is no escape for anyone by any amount of planning. The living beings who have come to the material world against the will of the Supreme Being are under the control of a supreme power called māyā-śakti, the deputed agent of the Lord, and this daivī māyā is meant to pinch the conditioned souls by threefold miseries, one of which is explained here in this verse: the weak are the subsistence of the strong. No one is strong enough to protect himself from the onslaught of a stronger, and by the will of the Lord there are systematic categories of the weak, the stronger and the strongest. There is nothing to be lamented if a tiger eats a weaker animal, including a man, because that is the law of the Supreme Lord. But although the law states that a human being must subsist on another living being, there is the law of good sense also, for the human being is meant to obey the laws of the scriptures. This is impossible for other animals. The human being is meant for self-realization, and for that purpose he is not to eat anything which is not first offered to the Lord. The Lord accepts from His devotee all kinds of food preparations made of vegetables, fruits, leaves and grains. Fruits, leaves and milk in different varieties can be offered to the Lord, and after the Lord accepts the foodstuff, the devotee can partake of the prasāda, by which all suffering in the struggle for existence will be gradually mitigated. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gītā (9.26). Even those who are accustomed to eat animals can offer foodstuff, not to the Lord directly, but to an agent of the Lord, under certain conditions of religious rites. Injunctions of the scriptures are meant not to encourage the eaters of animals, but to restrict them by regulative principles. The living being is the source of subsistence for other, stronger living beings. No one should be very anxious for his subsistence in any circumstances because there are living beings everywhere, and no living being starves for want of food at any place. Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira is advised by Nārada not to worry about his uncles’ suffering for want of food, for they could live on vegetables available in the jungles as prasāda of the Supreme Lord and thus realize the path of salvation. Exploitation of the weaker living being by the stronger is the natural law of existence; there is always an attempt to devour the weak in different kingdoms of living beings. There is no possibility of checking this tendency by any artificial means under material conditions; it can be checked only by awakening the spiritual sense of the human being by practice of spiritual regulations. The spiritual regulative principles, however, do not allow a man to slaughter weaker animals on one side and teach others peaceful coexistence. If man does not allow the animals peaceful coexistence, how can he expect peaceful existence in human society? The blind leaders must therefore understand the Supreme Being and then try to implement the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God, or Rāma-rājya, is impossible without the awakening of God consciousness in the mass mind of the people of the world.

Smritis are acceptable to a sanatani only to the extent they agree with Vedas. Geeta, as interpreted by Prabhupad, is replete with instances that disagree with Vedas. Hence, should be rejected out right. Instead of making unnecessary long comment spend some time to read and understand Vedas.

Do not get lost in vedas and other holy scriptures so much that you lose your viveka. Human being is one which has such a developed consciousness such that he has the ability to be beyond any and all programming. Like the Gita, Vedas at the end of the day are just guidelines. Dont misunderstand when I say this, they are extremely important and significant texts but without the conscious discernment that is viveka, they might as well just be books. What Prabhu Pad is advocating for here is sense. Given the circumstance, a human must have a conscious response to his situation.

I am a Christian and I like Hinduism. Have read the epics. But always have wondered is it only because Jesus was not born in India that He is not considered God by Hindus? I ask this because I feel Jesus has done many miracles including raising the dead and Jesus himself rose from death which is not possible with any common man but God.

God really wanted to reverse it and so He decides to ascend to this world. Jesus is the God incarnate and lived a humble life and though He was innocent and sinless; was crucified to death but Jesus being sinless ressurected the third day thus ensuring that all the souls will ressurect upon the second coming of Jesus. If humans inherited sufferings and death from a person's sin caused death, then Jesus born as another man could reverse death through ressurection. Upon Jesus second coming, Jesus will appear in the clouds, Jesus will raise all the dead and all the living and dead who rose would be judged on the basis of their sins, where good souls are rewarded with ETERNAL LIFE and so Jesus will end the wrong, negativity and punish the evil forces forever.
