For me, I think the jiujitsu community is easily one of the best sports communities, One of the only sports you can have a teenager going with adults.

I think it's because of Brazilians they are like the friendliest people in the world.

Thank you! It’s hard to try your best in life and constantly deal with a bad reputation because of what you escape and are a victim of.

I’ll put it like this, every bad habit you see, is rampant everywhere, no matter what ethnicity, so learn to separate the people from the bad habits that happen, cause think about it, if the bad things associated with each race/country, the everyday joe, just trying to put food on the table, is a victim of those same bad habits, and generalizing makes the victims into villains across the board.

I don't think it does all the time. Some gyms can be clicky. Dont train there or there. Politics in every gym including other combat sports.

out of all martial arts and sports i would say bjj is filled with the most douchebags, people trying to genuinely hurt others, and egoists that think they're better than others. i'd much rather any judo, muay thai, wrestling, mma, or even boxing group. at least my experience is bjj has the worst people of any sport i played. probably is much better in brazil though and im sure varies depending on what country or region. Not saying i haven't met good people too but having done quite a few sports, i can say the least.
