For anyone wondering what kind of weapons I’m using, Verina is using R2 variation and Mortefi is using 3 star pistol’s of the voyager. Get at least 150 energy regen on both of them and you’re good to go. All characters are at S0. Be sure to like and subscribe. What do you think of Jiyan? Will he be powercrept by a similar character with the same utility soon? I would love to hear your opinions about him.

@@chelo136 Man, kind of a bad take there. He's far from mid. He's easy to use and less prone to user error, and his crowd control for mobs is incredibly useful. His auto parry means you'll stagger bosses easier and faster, especially if your device isn't the best and is prone to stuttering. His damage isn't the best among 5* dps units yes, but it's enough to clear the game. His best support is Mortefi, a 4*. And he's gotten better with Shorekeeper. Tell me why he's mid again?

He became a medical assistant right from the age of 10, and then took up the mantle of General at a very young age because of worsening circumstances. All the helplessness and frustration watching everyone around him suffer is what forced him to mature faster and take up too much responsibility too early

I'm glad I didn't skip Jiyan. Especially after getting my Mortefi to S6. I find myself using Jiyan more exactly because of his ease of use and I find him to have the most consistent/stable rotations out of the current DPS 5stars.

I'm kinda a late joiner since 1.3, but ever since i met him on the storyline, ive been saving up for him until his return. He just ticks all thr boxes for me, visually and even his lore. The fact that hes a main damage dealer and a good one at that makes me want him like I never did in any gacha character I came across. That I got Verina in the beginner's banner just sealed the deal for me too since shes apparently a good team with him already.

Couldn’t have been a better time to make this as we just got a new separate endgame tower that FINALLY has level 100 multiwave content where jiyan goes absolutely crazy in. I felt that while jiyan was good, there was never a situation where I would want to use him as my jinhsi zhezhi team or xiangli yao yinlin team both performed better single target wise. Now that we have endgame multiwave content I can def get behind jiyan being extremely valuable for a while (not forever tho tbh)

I got him within first 15 pulls then his S1 at 34 and his signature weapon at 26 pity…yes he’s the reason why I don’t have Yinlin but I love his play style…and I think in future he will get similar treatment like Xiao where slowly he’ll get his best supports one by one and one day his team would be called as meta

Nailed all the points why Jiyan will be difficult to powercreep. He trivializes many things the game demands you to learn. He overpowers enemies with ease and there is no counter his type of playstyle. Jiyan is my first and only S6 until they give me any incentive to invest in another character I love.

With a good echo set all DPS characters can clear all content. I main Chixia who is supposed to be a bottom tier dps and she absolutely destroys the bosses in the tower. More importantly she is super cute and fun to play :)

I typically use him to clear the mob floors. Then I use Changli (and now Xiangli Yao) for the boss floors. It's not that he's bad, he's just not the best at bossing for, specifically for hypermobile boss with weird mobility patterns. I Love Jiyan He has not left my overworld team because of horizontal mid-air dash and also auto parry and quick mobbing is ridiculously amazing. The only way I can see him getting powercrept is if they pulled a Venti->Kazuha situation. And even then, I'd still use Jiyan. He's character #1, and he will always be my #1❤❤❤

He'll probably be the best traction dps for a long time. CC is usually a support skill, so them combining CC and dps is great. He's like a battle mage CC archetype in MOBAs.

I have every character in the game. jiyan is my favorite character. He is fun, his rotation is smooth, it’s easy to get really good damage from him and verina works perfectly for him so that frees up shorekeeper. I do have s6 mortefi and verina. Now to be fair it’s time for the negative He is bad in the overworld. He doesn’t have inferno rider for movement so his movement in the overworld is a lot slower than most. He is ult reliant for damage. Unlike changi who can clear mobs with echo and skill he has to use his ult to get fast kills. When he does use his ult he clears trash fast but he has no energy because they die so quickly so it’s a pain to deal with in the overworld So he only comes out when i play the tower but i can rely on him for 3 star clears of ANYTHING they throw at us and for me thats beyond worth it. Edit- make sure to get his weapon. He really needs it.

0:48 I've pulled for Jiyan because I wanted to get him before the game even came out. I just looked at his gameplay and went "yep, that's the characher I'd wanna play". I also wanted to get Lingyang for the same reason. Ended up getting both, but maining Lingyang currently, trying to make him strong enough to beat the content. Then I'll be thinking about trying Jiyan, lol. Oh, and I've skipped Yinlin, going all in for Jiyan because I've lost my 50/50 to Verina :D I got Calcharo from the novice banner(or whatever it's called), but I've never used him.

I like his S4 since it increases his own heavy damage too but the application for the team getting the boost isn't there yet so I do hope we get another heavy atk dps like unit like him who would want it as to take Verina out for more power.

Been using him and he comfortably blitzes all content .....I use Jinshi's weapon on him. But hey if he even gets powercrept you can use him in lower floors of TOA. But this is a gacha game....he will eventually become dated....but if he is good for say even a year or two. I would say it was worth it. Especially if people rerolled and got him early.

I got lucky enough to get him AND his weapon and THEN winning all the others 50/50 for the next promotional characters, being f2p, so I can compare, since I've used enough other units. And I have to tell you, keep using him from time to time even if, for EXAMPLE, Yinlin is v good, or if Jinhsi is the best DPS. Changli does more DMG in my account (skill issue, let me be), but Jiyan is always the one I return to to easy farm or do anything, really. Specially since I play on phone when i'm busy. Thankfully, they're gonna add remote control for phone soon, but meanwhile, Jiyan is true a life saver Crowd Control King 👑, the reason he's still on the top is because he's very easy to use, not matter what.

Verina second or 3rd is better so you can swap to her and skip the first 2 normal attacks straight to the 3 4 and 5 which will give you the stack and then skill for 2 stacks and then echo bell and then liberation Now u jump and attack twice and u got concerto maxed out.

@@Cat_fry_4_free while it may not be his best in slot, it’s a decent weapon to use on him because of the high base attack and crit rate substat which enables you to run a crit damage 4 cost echo. So go for it. You can clear the middle tower as losng as he’s fully maxed out

@@sebutsajadia5803 at the beginning, everyone has 0 concerto energy so i only focused on getting verina outro because she’s good with concerto energy recovery. The subsequent rotations will be easier because i swap to Mortefi right after jiyan to help recover concerto energy for the next rotation. I did this because Mortefi is not using the Cadenza pistol which helps make the rotation faster

Tried to pull for Jiyan but lost to Lingyang now he is S2 and I don't even use him, but I do have every limited character after him and Zheshi is the only character with their signature to maximize her potential because of her off field damage since I do have Jinhsi. Jinhsi doesn’t need SPECIFIC 5* for coordinated attack, Yuanwu is completely free, i’d say yuanwu + verina is more free than mortefi + verina. Get your facts straight mate. Yuanwu may not be a great concerto character, his presence alone in the team greatly reduces field time for support/off field usually takes, allow Jinhsi to shine completely and still provides the valuable shred to enemy’s stagger bar. Understood that you want to promote Jiyan in this video, there’s no need to put other characters down.

@@wilsonzzz1992 You mentioned that he’s not great at recovering concerto energy and still mentioned that he provides valuable shred to enemy’s vibrational strength which are contradictory because it’s his outro that shreds vibrational strength the most so he needs to be good at recovering concerto energy before he’ll be good at shredding vibrational strength. When playing him in a Jinshi team, this is not something that you can rely on because you don’t get that benefit more often. He’s meant to be played on field and that’s why that’s a problem in the first place. You also forgot to mention that his coordinated attacks are not the best because the enemy can go out of the circle. It’s not my intention to put any character down as you said. I’m just trying to present the facts. His main advantage is that he’s free and I think everyone agrees that having yinlin or zhezhi just makes jinshi very easy to play. I appreciate the comment

Inherent skill: Thunderweaver - The damage multiplier of Resonance Skill Thunder Uprising is increased by 40%, and its depletion of enemy Vibration Strength is enhanced. So even if outro wasn't triggered, you will get the benefits of additional vibration strength shred. Yuanwu's advantage are follows: 1. completely free; 2. Very few field time, arguably better than verina (if Verina isnt S2); 3. E is very flexible even if its a circle impact design. With low cd, if your Yuanwu has the inherent skill Reserved Confidence activated, you'll know that he will automatically leaves a thunder wedge when he leaves the field. 4. Yuanwu's cost effective to build, you practically do not need any resources built on yuanwu, just a 3* gauntlet and healing set. you can practically leave yuanwu at lv40 afaik, you'll of course lose the benefits of auto wedge placement in this case. @@wilsonzzz1992 I don’t think a comparison between verina and Yuanwu when it comes to field time is a good idea. I get why you made that comparison though because all you need is to place Yuanwu circle and then swap out but verina’s field time is worth it because of the buff you gain from her outro. I agree with him being free as an advantage. For the E being flexible and helps with vibrational strength reduction, It pales in comparison to what Zhezhi and and Yinlin can provide to Jinshi including resonance skill damage bonus, additional damage to help clear content faster, resonance energy regeneration, resonance liberation damage bonus etc. these are all reasons that will convince you to pull for them instead of using Yuanwu. I agree that every character is special in their own way but when it comes to supportive capabilities for a Jinshi team, Yuanwu is simply not the best option but viable if you don’t want to spend extra astrites
