Dont agree with KK not being fast, Ive watched him quite a few times for Napoli and Georgia in the last few years and he is quick, but its how he travels with the ball that is so impressive, he also has that excellent change of direction while carrying the ball and can go past players on both sides and in tight spaces like Saka does. Even if you don't consider him that quick - Saka isn't that quick but he is still so effective because he travels so well with the ball, can go any direction keeping his opponent always guessing and reacting to his movement. I haven't seen anything of him this season though, looking at his stats you mention they aren't particularly impressive, so that is a case against him, but before that he was one of the most promising up and coming wingers in world football.

Why aren't we competing to buy this guy. Literally would raise the level!! Saka, Khvicha and whatever #9 we have would make us a force to be reckoned with. Arsenal can be frustrating

Said it on another thread... I remember a window where in a desperate season, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan were brought in during January to bolster the season. Irregardless of their legacy, I dont see why a club with their announced "best financial year" couldn't do something to push for a title this year. Then again, (owner) didnt care about making the most expensive stadium in the world FIFA standard from the get-go just 2 yrs ahead of a WC... as a football club owner

Kava is class, was one of the best players in the euros. would be the best dribbler in our squad, would be on lower wages than Nico Williams, Kai Havertz etc. but we shouldn't even try get him for 70Mil? He's the real "market opportunity" Mikel always talks about. If we are not in for him, we aren't serious as a club.

We as fans are more ambitious than the club management structure, we constantly make every excuse for the lack of ambition they show, we are scared of calling out Arteta's regression and his lack of in game management. hold on people, the worst is yet to come
@alfredthegreat95433 сағат бұрын
Yes we need players BUT- 2 things are needed to buy a player- A player who wants to move A club who want to sell Plus we are far better now, so the pool of players that would improve us is smaller. So if there are no players better than what we have, should we just buy one because otherwise some fans will whine online? We ain't buying for the sake of, only if a really good player becomes available. It isn't rocket science.
@eguasaogiamien17553 сағат бұрын
So Omar Marmoush that’s going to City won’t improve us, yeah? You’re talking crap. Arsenal move fast when they want to sign useless players like Havertz. Lol
@AtrakisСағат бұрын
@@eguasaogiamien1755 bit unfair on Havertz tbh, he's been one of our most consistent players over the last season before his illness. He's overpriced and overpaid... so kudos to his agent. He has been a great squad addition/link man but, we've needed a proper striker for a while now.

I like Barcola. Attacking-wise, he's brilliant. Problem is his finishing and defensive responsibilities. He's one for the future though.

The problem is with this defensive responsibility shit, it's affecting our attack massively, when our forwards have defensive responsibility, we are short in numbers on the transition, hence our slow lethargic gameplay

GoonSquad might as well shelve the anxiety and frustration around these typical, winter slump results and hope that pundits, social media and media will "stop the cap!" Regardless of any moves by other clubs, Arsenal may buy a cheap or fledgling defender or winger or a backup keeper but not the CF needed for the last 2 seasons. The squad can apparently share the goals around and hope to hang in there with the same squad without falling in the table, until injuries subside. As has happened with recent Arsenal squads, the results may then pick up circa Feb but not enough to close the gap/win a competition/save the season, then the club hype will start talking positively about the strong finish boding well for next season, and the media will pick up on all the obvious summer transfer speculation...again. Arsenal will then improve the squad in a significant position somewhere during the summer after painful negotiations, but leave a glaringly obvious, unresolved or newly created gap elsewhere...again. Hope not but this has been the pattern.

Giving Sterling as an example of why you want a body in is disappointing. Nico Williams is who has been scouted, and it's who we should sign

We really have no one doing ground work on any players, we'll end up with signing of injury prone players. Arteta is putting himself under unnecessary pressure because of not advising the owners to strengthen.

@@MK-mq6vy out of those only mudryk and vlahovix was actually a top target. Mudryk we didn't want to spend 100m on so pulled out, vlahovix chose to stay in Italy. Caicedo was our option in a Jan window because our top choice rice wasn't available then but caicedo was too expensive. The others are just rumours and interest with no actual move.
