I think nobody appreciates how honest and real Liam’s answer was - we all want to believe in the perfect manufactured image of the One Direction members being super chummy all the time and best friends, when in reality there were probably many things they didn’t see eye to eye on with each other. It takes real maturity to admit that they’ve always had their differences and that one doesn’t understand another, but for Liam to add that he would always have Zayn’s back I think showed his vulnerability and depth. Should he have admitted this on Impaulsive (I despise the Logan brothers) in the way he did? Maybe not; but it’s probably a much truer summary of the relationship between some of them than we’d like to believe. Liam always got flak for keeping it real and not as clean cut as the other members post breakup, but I always appreciated how he was forthcoming where the rest wouldn’t be. I got sick of my friends after spending 24 hours with them nearly a year, and I became someone who despise our moment together at that time. guys i think we all need to take a step back and calm down about this. what happened in the band was, is and never will be any of our business, because just like us celebrities like to have privacy too. even though one direction was and always will be an amazing band it doesn't mean that they didn't have their ups and downs. in this video, liam was clearly stating that he felt a certain type of way about another band member, zayn. most importantly, however he states that he will always be by zayn's side, which is the most important thing. even though liam was in the wrong for bringing up zayns personal life, we all make mistakes and say some things without thinking. what we as fans and supporters need to do right now is let them deal with this and not put any pressure on any of the boys for this. they all have the purest hearts and souls but mistakes happen and we need to accept that and move on. thanks.

the way people are acting here towards liam is so over dramatic, anyone would think he just called zayn all the names under the sun and said he hopes for him to not be successful etc. at the end of the day the only people who know what their friendship was really like during the 1d days is them & the other guys. y'all expect them to be the best of friends forever and never have a fall out, disagreement or not like certain things the other persons done etc? STOP living in fantasy land, they're just human beings. also, yes zayn has his good points but he has made mistakes aswell he's not god so stop acting like he is.
