‘Some people come into it and realize that that is not exactly what they want or that there is better usage for it’ this is how all people should feel about funds over like 10 million dollars. Why does one person need that much money when there are so so many in need that that money is just sitting there making that one persons number go up. I hope in the future the egregious wealth we see expressed and idolized today is realized as the disgusting hoarding that it is and I am glad Makenzie has begun a turn for the better for billionaires, I hope it means they realize the numbers achieved by this handful of people was born on the backs of billions of people’s poverty and suffering.

If you just give away the income from the $37 billion, then give away the lot when you pass, you will help a lot more people than giving 1/2 away at the start. Allow the capital balance to grow. Imaging if Buffet just gave away everything after $100M. By letting it grow, now he can give away 1000X more.

I'd say all of these famously rich people don't have an idea on how to effectively donate their riches so as to provide long term benefit to most of the population in this world. The saying of "Giving it back to the people". Giving to various foundations is quite limiting as to its effectiveness and reach. If by a rare chance it was me, I'd say to use the wealth to buy a mid-sized Petroleum Corporation and fix the price of oil permanently at $60 per barrel. No profiteering and should be sustainable for long. That should (on a long term) solve the inflation, solve the people's affordability problem, control the greed of the rich and powerful/influential people, solve the financial situation of the people. Much better than just giving the wealth away to a few. And the whole world will be in a much better place (and benefit longer) this way.
