I agree with everything, but: -Miura was left-handed, that puts extra pressure on the heart. Left-handed people generally have shorter lifespans. -Toriyama had brain cancer removed weeks or days before his death. The doctors may have made a mistake.

The workload is crushing and the stress will end up becoming physical as well as mental. Because the industry is entirely fucked up. God forbid you work at Weekly Shonen Jump, that'll wreck you. If your manga drops in popularity, you're as good as dead.

Making art for a living is brutal. Especially after you get that big. I think some people don't really look into these kind of things really until the artists are pretty much are on hiatus (generally from being ill in a way) or they just find out that they've passed. I'm very glad you're part of a team at the very least which has it's own challenges. I'm glad your Mom is checking up on you.

After hearing this I feel the manga industry really needs to have a change and stop putting pressurizing other mangaka's I mean who likes sleeping 3 or 2 hours a day and all day to beat the deadlines

I sleep 7 hours a day then again I've decided to slow down aim for monthly after storyboards are done its a pretty fast process to get the chapter finished Walk 6,000 steps every morning, eat a good breakfast after returning home, draw meditate lunch, draw, meditate , free time, bed
