@@buincqv67 I feel like if they end up making Norman like CAPTAINMIDNIGHT said he will end up being introduced not using the Goblin suit but the Iron Patriot Armour, I feel like the MCU is going to do something like the Dark Reign, so he probably will end up with the Iron Patriot Armour and will be an Avenger. And then the Green Goblin will be introduced while he is an Avenger and Norman will end up putting the fault on Harry. Since the MCU is going to a more political side I feel like he could end up "creating" villains and pulling the strings from behind the scenes while using those "villains" to make Peter and the Avengers look good on the public's eyes, while he uses them to achieve his objectives.

So two ideas: 1. Just have him be Norman for a little bit. A bunch of comics and media have shown Norman as just as dangerous as the Goblin. Make Goblin something of a stress persona for a while. He goes around being a tech/science mogul pursuing Peter for his own ends until pushed to the brink. Maybe he's the guy who supplies every other villain with their tech. 2. Tony Stark v2. If you want to make Norman a dark reflection/cautionary tale for Peter, have that in there tio. Norman was just as inspired by Tony as Peter was but in a far more sinister way. Peter loved Tony's intelligence, heroism and quick wit. Norman loved Tony's status, power and iconography. He wants all that and more.

Marco Brilli but with Cap Midnight’s take he wouldn’t be related to Tony. He’d be similar to Tony, using the previous stories of MCU Spidey to its advantage to establish a relationship between SM and Norman. He’s otherwise his own characters with his own intentions, the only relation to tony being meta and interpreted rather than an actual part of the narrative

this is how I think Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius could be introduced into the MCU. a month or so after Captain America Civil War Oscorp receives a commission from the US government to attempt recreate the super soldier serum so Norman Osborn puts his head genetics research Otto Octavius on it and for two years Otto was making very good progress on the super soldier serum but then the snap happened and Otto Octavius was one of the people who turned to dust right in the middle his work on the serum. This results in Norman Osborn having to replace Otto with Miles Warren a genetics researcher who is far less skilled than Otto and is also willing to cut corners to get the job done which results in the super soldier serum having some nasty side effects particularly having an effect on mental stability. (I'm using Miles Warren / The Jackal as an example) when Otto Octavius reappears in the lab 5 years later when the snap is undone and then he is taken by security to Norman Osborn's office were he is told point-blank by Norman that he no longer has a job And is be escorted from the premises and all the credit for the new super soldier serum will be going to Miles not Otto. Otto Octavius does not take too kindly to this and punches Norman (or something to that effect) swearing that Norman will rue the day he crossed Otto Octavius. as security grabs Octavius and escort him out of the premises. This would set up the dynamic for why Otto Octavius despises Norman Osborn, and will be try to bring him down only be stopped by Spider-Man. of course when the government lerns the super soldier serum they commissioned Oscorp to make has a serious flaw that effect a persons mental stability. the government cut the contract which would be a serious blow to Oscorp which would result in Norman using a serum on himself resulting in his mind becoming fractured creating the Green Goblin persona.

I think it would be better to have Norman forcibly given the serum in a seemingly failed debut attack on Oscorp by Doctor Octopus. Mostly because I hate the cliche of the scientist against a deadline experimenting on themselves, but this way were showing that Otto is smart enough to recognize the problems with the serum before anyone else, he's willing to become a costumed villain to get back at Norman Osborne, and he's cleaver enough to make his attack look unsuccessful just so he can have the last laugh.

So Norman makes his suit and abilities look medieval and magic based, turning the public eye towards once again blaming magic. You can probably work out the story from there.

As good as Defoe was in no way home, I agree in that I would ahve absolutely loved to have seen a movie where normal osborn is an MCU billionaire villain, where the thunderbolts could be led by him, and where him and spidey's rivalry could have turned to an avengers level problem, as it does in the comics. I grew up on Dark Avengers comics and I wish the billionaire version of norman would be adopted rather than the psychchopathic goblin. Having said that, i loved no way home :)

Since the Sinister Six are the most important part of the Spider-Man mythos that has yet to appear on film it's only a matter of time before they show up. * These films will share connections to the Sony Universe of Marvel Characters (SUMC)/Sony's Marvel Universe films like the Venom trilogy and Morbius since especially in the latter we know Peter Parker/Spider-Man exists in the universe and Michael Keaton's character may or may not be Adrian Toomes/Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming. * Miles Morales is going to appear one way or another not only because of newfound popularity thanks to the animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse of which he was one of the main characters but he's confirmed to exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and his uncle Aaron Davis/The Prowler played by Donald Glover was in Spider-Man: Homecoming with even a deleted post-credits scene had him partially name drop his nephew it also means Jefferson Davis and Rio Morales his parents will also show up and likely already exist in the MCU. * Peter Parker/Spider-Man will continue to team up with an existing MCU character such as say Matt Murdock/Daredevil or Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk since the previous two movies had him paired with Tony Stark/Iron Man and Nick Fury respectively. * The Daily Bugle website run by J. Jonah Jameson will play role in these films. * Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn will be making their MCU debuts since like Norman Osborn/Green Goblin they are an important part of the Peter Parker/Spider-Man comics' mythos.

I've always thought having a rebellious version of Harry Osborn who loathes his father could be a really cool interpretation to see captured on the big screen. Maybe Harry becomes an unlikely Ally for Spider-Man as he goes up against Green Goblin. Hell you could also set up the brain washing sub plot from Ultimate Spider-Man and set him up as New Goblin or HobGoblin in a future film. How cool would that be for Peter Parker to actively try and stop his newfound friend from hurting others and himself after he's been brainwashed into being the next crazy homicidal maniac after his father dies or get's locked up?
