I kept asking, who is this made for? Certainly not kids, and adults? Not this one.. is it supposed to be for everyone? What demographic(s) is this made for?? Just why

Man, cash grab movies are so disappointing. These studios just don’t seem to understand that what we want to see are original human stories. That’s it. Nothing crazy or outlandish, just good stories we relate to told in any medium

I'm disappointed that they chose the name Taka just for fanservice of some fans of some non-canon picture books that Disney forgotten even if it literally means "trash" and don't make sense instead of using Lion Guard's more reasonable name of Askari which means "warrior" and sounds like Scar that also make Scar a reasonable affectional nickname by Mufasa.

Everyone claiming this kills Midas’s backstory doesn’t realize his mom showed up at the end and left the door open for him to be royalty. I did think scars turn was weird and out of place but maybe we will get a pt.2.

JB franchise doesnt understand what kind of story it is telling-- most spy dramas are not very personal journeys like JB. This series is closer to a western than a spy movie. One example that comes to mind is how Bourne has the opportunity to kill the people in charge of Treadstone in the original trilogy but he doesn't. Bourne says Marie wouldn't have wanted him to kill the old guy he has dead to rights... but in JB 2016 he pretty much kills anyone (almost killed Dewey too) as a result his character is far less interesting imo. Maybe if they didn't kill Nikki he wouldve had more reasons to not be a killing machine idk. John Wick pretty much killed these movies I suppose, but they were nice for the time.

They had lightning in a bottle with the opportunity to make one of the moest epic sequels, to one of the most greatest films ever. The rise of Joker and Harley together taking over Gotham after she helps him escape. Fucking simple, and yet, we got a godamm shitty musical? Wtf. There should be a petition to scratch this from Cannon and tey again, with what the fans want.....and not your little whimsical project...

Honestly at this point what is even canon? first the books aren't, now the cartoons aren't??? In this movie Mufasa is the villain and scar is someone to feel pity for because everything is taken from him unfairly by someone who ISN'T even his biological brother.... He may not have been the bravest lion but he had potential to be king if Mufasa hadn't practically shoved him from the throne and claimed it as his own when he had no right to it

I have a feeling this movie might be the beginning of the end of Dwayne Johnson. All the sorrow about how awful he was on set, late every single day (if he even showed up at all) and just being impossible to work with. I think most directors aren’t going to bother working with someone like that. Bruce Willis last few movies were straight to streaming for that exact reason after Kevin smith told The world how horrible he was to work with. Later being confirmed by a lot of his previous costars. The same Thing is likely going to happen here

I feel like you're being a little bit nit picky with how the Simpsons have adapted to modernity. I have no issue with characters using iPods or starting podcasts because so many other shows have done the same like South Park and American Dad. Yes, it doesn't make no logical sense but we as the audience have an understanding that time in the show doesn't operate the same in real life and that it adapts to contemporary society. So yes, I would expect Bart to start a podcast in a modern episode, likewise, a Y2K musical in a time where Y2K was trendy also makes sense. But I agree there should've been a joke in there about inconsistencies since American Dad does a great job at doing that.

I thought it was fine, but i also wont rewatch it , i thought the foreigner was cool tho his death was lame, dmitri or the chameleon ,also shouldve been more useful instead of a damasel in distress, personally i wouldve had him aiding kraven in his fight with the foreigner or the rhino by distracting them with his voice changing skills or turn him in the chameleon earlier . And lastly just make bad guys bad guys, i feel like the writers just think progatonist = good guy, but no kraven shouldve either been a bad guy from the start or Maybe a good guy turned bad.

I just saw Mufasa and I felt that the Timon and Pumbaa cutaways were the same as Lion King 11/2. However, the thing is that Ernie Saballa and Nathan Lane had better delivery, so as a kid, it really felt like they were watching the story with me. Another thing is the Lion King 11/2 wasn’t about Simba, it was about Timon. With Mufasa, I did enjoy Rafiki’s storytelling and his involvement with the story. I also did enjoy how Scar and Mufasa met and how Sarabi came to be part of the picture. The love triangle was kind of cute, and how Mufasa became king was interesting. It was too rushed for most of the movie. Mufasa’s acceptance into the pride was too quick. It went from “we don’t take strays” to “protect my son” in like 5 minutes. Scar’s betrayal of Mufasa felt very immature. It was based on love more than it was anything else. Mufasa didn’t steal Scar’s mother’s love, it was just that Scar was a coward, and Scar knew that. So, his reasoning for betrayal wasn’t supported by the plot. I didn’t like comic relief. There were moments of real depth that were immediately discarded by dumb Zazu quotes. And then I really really really didn’t like the plot hole of Rafiki moving the Earth during the fight between the outsiders and Mufasa

Sorry but this film is a farce. Its essentially an rpg with fetch quests, leveling up now and again, being basically immortal, changing the difficulty as needed. And oh man, a rebel moon inspired scene. Fun. Im glad folks enjoy it, id love to be right there with yall.

something interesting is stitching together tv episodes (possibly with some extra content) is quite common for animes in Japan. They do this when a story arc wraps up. they seem to be popular both as a recap for people who missed the episodes, or new to the series; as well as people who just want to reexperience it bigger. So I think consumers don't seem to be against it, and might be something we'll see more of in the west.
