Yahuah Is My Everything it’s not about your standards/requirements that will turn a good or high quality man off though. Of course if you guys don’t match each other it’s a no go. But it’s the mentality that can come with it. No man wants to compete against the world all day and then come home and compete with you. Just like you shouldn’t want to compete with him. You’re supposed to be each other peace, safe space. a place that, while not always perfect, you can let your guard down and chill and be you as much as possible.

DeWayne Phoenix Of course. It’s not about competition between the two sexes. I'll be honest, I read the title and I was ready to eye roll the video when I heard that black women are too masculine and I thought it would follow on with that "we need to submit" etc, etc, like a lot of video's I've seen. But Breeny you brought a lot of perspective on why being seen as intimidating can affect women pursuing healthy and fulfilling relationships. I'm married btw, so I'm not looking, but this message extended beyond being a single woman looking for a relationship. You made some salient points about understanding your worth, and knowing that you might not be necessarily intimidating, but people, especially men feel intimidated because they know they lack the resources in what it takes to value a woman who already understands what she's worth. I will say this, I do think a lot of men are unable to value women who have healthy self-esteem because a lot of men come from a place of inequality, ownership, possession and belief that a woman is there to absorb their insecurities. Quite frankly, men need to do a lot of work on themselves, because a woman with self-worth will no longer settle for the aforementioned. Great video!

@Amikah Stewart : It’s a terrible turn-off when a man offers or expects sex immediately (or very early in a relationship.). It indicates that: A). Hello from America. This comment will be longish. I saw your video in my feed and at first glance at the title I thought to myself "Oh, here we go". But...I stayed and watched the entire video. I have to say that I agree with most of what you have to say. As a Black Man (BM) that is into coding & technology, I really do not care if a Black Woman (BW) has 2 master degree's, a minor, and working on her PhD thesis. If that doesn't translate into you genuinely being feminine and us being interdependent on each other and building a life together then your degrees can kick rocks. A BW degrees and accomplishments while yes are something to be proud of are not a substitute for not having to do this or that. Yes I did say I am into coding & technology in the beginning, I'm not going to use that as something to beat a BW down with. It's a tool used to build our relationship between me and that BW. I'll be looking at your upcoming videos to listen to your points.
@AprilCarterVPRILCVRTER5 жыл бұрын
Lynell I appreciate this comment. Nicely articulated in a way that isn’t defensive or putting women down. I think sometimes some men don’t realize the reasons why women are proud of what they’ve made of themselves - going from nothing to something in a somewhat male dominated world is huge. It goes against expectation and also against what a lot of women are taught growing up. But I also realize we leverage who we’ve become and weaponize it, which isn’t right either. It’s a balancing act.

What does feminine female mean to you?
@tubeyou101x4 жыл бұрын
How about a female with no degrees or nothing and still not feminine? Is it the degrees that is the issue or the nature of the woman? What my grandmother told me like it is said in the video, if you start off with a man with low self esteem, or who is below your level, it will be problematic. For example, a woman like Michelle Obama to some guys will come across as not worth a shot. But to a strong man she comes off as best. So as much as it depends on the woman's nature, it also definitely on the man's nature. First thing I look for in a man is where are they in terms of their maturity and ability to be with strong woman. As in would this person feel intimidated by my qualifications? Folks like this will want to tie every marital problems to your qualifications. And always accuse of disrespect. Similarly to guys. If you feel more qualifications compared to woman is a problem, best thing is don't be with her. Find one who doesn't have any. I agree with your competition comment- some men will say you are intimidating if your being soft, gentle and feminine. These are men who although you have agreed to date them, (in their own minds), although they may want to be with you... THEY TRULY INSIDE THEMSELVES don’t believe they “deserve “ a women like you and are just insecure. I have dated down... just recently ended a relationship with a narcissist who stated at the beginning of the relationship that he was “intimidated “ by me because I was so feminine, soft, gentle...blah blah. He ended up using those traits to bring me down. HE WAS A NARCISSIST.

Leah T: I think statements like that can “sting” because we read into it and take it a closeted insult, ie “He means I’m snobby.” In general, good (or even decent) men tend to be very honest about their FEELINGS about women. If a man is saying, “You’re too good for me,” or “You don’t (or can’t) really love me,” etc., he really means it. That’s his perceived reality. This becomes an exercise in frustration because women are CONSTANTLY chided in most societies for NOT lowering their standards and considering men “in a lower league” to themselves. So women give these men their time and attention and are rejected or mistreated for being “too good.”

emmanuel de la cruz : exactly. Nobody dumps someone they DO feel good enough to date.
@m.i.53815 жыл бұрын
He said that as a parting sentiment. His real reason is you were not feminine, I.e you were too masculine for him to stick around. Men do not like butch masculine women. Men are naturally attracted to feminine women.

rugssean : That’s his problem, isn’t it? It’s not a woman’s job to “sell” herself to a man. He either sees and appreciates her worth or he doesn’t. Just because he fails to recognize her worth doesn’t make her less worthy.

Intimidation:, frighten or overawe (someone), especially in order to make them do what one wants. "he tries to intimidate his rivals" synonyms: frighten, menace, terrify, scare, alarm, terrorize, overawe, awe, cow, subdue, discourage, daunt, unnerve; Ladies, you do not intimidate men. When men use the word intimidating about you it is a polite wsy of telling you that we find you kind of unpleasant to be around. You just may be judgmental and intolerant of others. This does not lend well to a developing relationship of any kind. Very rarely is a man attracted to your job or education level, this is what you have done to make a living. Wow look at her she is a CEO....this is said among maybe 1% of men. Rather, a man is attracted to your looks (very subjective and hard wired into our biology) and general pleasantness of nature. After all who wants every discussion to end up in a argument, debate or competition. Companionship based on mutual interests, respect of personal boundaries, and attraction is the way to go.
@jordanwilliams27015 жыл бұрын
Thank you I have said this for awhile. Women made feminism actually drill in their heads like we value women based on career or sum. Like if you're a CEO your still no better than the lady who's working 9-5 for a wife wise. And more often than not if you are a CEO idk how most of them will make much time to not be always working. I'm sure there's mem for them but personally I dont need some workaholic for a woman. I just want a simple wife. Her attraction comes somewhat from looks and as you said a very big one. Her attitude and how she carries her emotions. Again another problem of imma be big and rich but that mean I come with a fuck ton of bad energy😜😜😜like woman nooo😭😭.I'm not some lil 18 year old female looking for the handsome,rich,movie star of my dream😭I'm a man looking for let's be honest. Half way to traditional wife. My gf rn is a perfect example and I'm glad she likes the dynamic we have now. Sadly alot of women still have this traditional dynamic so men dont need to deal with all these women trying to be on the top so bad.

I have been in more situations of "dating up" not down. It takes great confidence in taking ownership of one's identity to feel worthy to "date up". I haven't always internalized that but I realize the men were responding to my capacity, not my present circumstances or the things that happened to me. Therefore, don't date on your level, date on capacity. It takes insight, foresight, and God-given discernment to date based upon the capacity and grace that you are designed with. Be a person of purpose and vision and only allow those in your life who align with this.

Low and behold, I ended up getting hurt a few months later. The sad thing about it was we always had so much fun together and I felt so comfortable being myself around him, but he lacked confidence. He was insecure and didn't understand why I wanted to be with him regardless of how many attempts I made to show him I only wanted him. Now I know to never do that again lol. Alpha Fucks Beta Bucks a phrase to describe a woman's mating behavior where she freely engages in sexual activities with the physically attractive, charismatic, charming, suave and confident males - in other words, the Alpha males - with no strings attached, shit-tests, favors, catches and any rules, hence Alpha Fucks. At the same time the woman denies sex to the physically unattractive and undesirable men - in other words, the Beta males - instead giving ambiguous promises that sex will be offered in return if the males treat her well, take her out to dates, buy her dinner, bring her gifts, etc, hence Beta Bucks. For the Betas, sex is held behind many barriers such as the "three dates" rule, all-expenses paid dinners, shopping trips, favors, funny jokes, rapport building, lengthy text convos, shit tests and more... all the while as the Alphas get to have sex right away without having to do all that in advance. Hence, the term Alpha Fucks Beta Bucks. This phrase can also alternatively be used to describe how a woman spends her young and fertile years hooking up and getting knocked up by the Alphas with absolutely no strings attached, and later as she seeks to settle down, seeks out a Beta to provide for her and her Alpha spawn.

I see nothing wrong with having high standards however I personally feel that alot of woman (of different colours from different backgrounds) have a checklist of requirements for men that they themselves haven't achieved i.e own house, great job, great body, good looking etc but when it comes down to it all us men are looking for is a kind humble girl that we can work with. Like Breeny says, this isn't an opposition sport, were both supposed to be working as one but alot of the times women and men be like "look at all I have, if you don't have this your not good enough for me" when truth be told you could be missing out on a great partner
