You hit the nail on the head. Watching sports while sitting on a couch and being happy or sad for something that never benefits you is like watching corn and feeling enjoyment for those 2 people while you aren't doing that thing yourself in real life. You ain't winning. Its just a fake temporary happiness or sadness thats a waste of your short temporary lifetime.

Man I wish I found this video at the start of march madness. This is facts though shit is a massive waste of time when you think about it. Don’t nobody care like that if you watched every game that was on or how well you remember stats. Shit has 0 relevance to your own success in life lol. WAKE IT UP! This our life tho as melanated men: niggas can tell you about who won the games for the week, be arguing & damn near ready to crash out about them sports teams but ask them same niggas about investing, how to manage money, nutrition, etc. and see the response you get. These be mostly the so-called OGs at that; 50+ years old & can't tell you shit but how LeBron did or what Skip Bayless said. I was into watching sports heavy at one point but only because I used to play the cards every weekend so money was on the line for me 🤣 tbh the shit was always boring to watch & once I found out all the shit was rigged it was DEFINITELY a wrap.
@louio2 ай бұрын
You're right. I'm guilty of this. Wore jerseys of NBA players when i was in high school, then still contemplated buying more when i was out of school plus i would watch ESPN shows like skip bayless & Stephen a smith arguing like women on TV. Took me awhile to realize. Although i don't mind wearing a sports team's hat and watching a game once in the blue moon. In the end, it's all rigged.

There is nothing wrong with watching a game, it's the living in the world 24/7 fantasy sports, buying jerseys $$$, watching shows where people argue sports, watching games that don't involve a team you care about. It can be difficult to get away from it, If you go into almost any bar/restuarant in this country and there will be 10 tv's with ESPN or FS1 on. You can make this arguement for all celebrities/entertainment, find what you you really enjoy to watch and listen to, just use moderation, don't make icon's, idols, hero worship, stand in line for autographs, if you are a grown man.

Great video. I think the promotion of professional sports helps promote political parties. Support the Red team, blue team or whatever irregardless of what they say or do. Keeping people in that mindset of being on a team and lowering your own abilities or family abilities and community abilities so that you be apart of an illusion of something greater that your not. Plus the commercials are so long and for profit and just ridiculous programing.
