Danny Green Is A BRICK “Typically” the top two all time players amongst fans, media and other basketball watchers, is argued between Jordan and Lebron. Therefore it makes sense that somebody would mention the name Lebron in a Jordan video. People always mention Bird when they talk about Magic. The fans and media will compare MJ and LBJ for talent reasons etc. Don’t blame me for simply explaining the situation. I’m literally saying it how it is

The one fact that I learned in this video which proves Jordan's dominance over LeBron once and for all, was his stent as the point guard in the late '80s. Think about it. The guy gets like 15 triple doubles in 24 games. And he averages over 30 points a game while doing this. That's insane! If he was orchestrating the offense like LeBron did for his whole career, Michael Jordan might have averaged a triple double for his career.
@johnc.richardson27132 жыл бұрын
@@paysonfox88 Right?!! I love that fact. & As a rookie he led the team in pts, rebounds, ast, steals, and came in 2nd to a 7-footer in blocks. @sultan-35 жыл бұрын
That's bullshit, first of all I want to say that I think Jordan is the GOAT and there's no discussion there. The problem I have is that joke of a point he was making with the kobe MVP Stat, a few minutes before he was talking about how stats can't paint the picture completely regarding how dominant you game actually was or is because there are factors that can't be taken into account from one generation to another. For example (and I hope he likes this) here's wilts rookie stats 37.6ppg 27rb 2.3ass and here's MJs 1998 MVP season 28. 7ppg 5.8rb 3.5ass, you see the problem with the picture you're trying to paint? + his own rookie stats were better than his MVP season, that doesn't make him a better player. This is the same thing that LeBron fans who seem to not understand that these are just stats (which are good indicators but not everything) try to do to prove his point.

He never got lost in the bright lights of the big stage. Lebron is my 2nd favorite player of all time. I rooted for him his entire career and I still root for Lebron. He is a great human being. And a great role model. But Lebron had moments where he didn't show up even though he was by far the most talented player on the floor. I'm not questioning his heart but it's undeniable that he had moments where he over-thought and under-played. Jordan never, not even once, didn't leave it all on the court. NOBODY matched his drive. One of the other knocks about Jordan's titles is "he beat old teams", yet that same logic is never used towards LeBron. So if Jordan's first title against the Lakers is downgraded because they're "an old team", then shouldn't LeBron and the Heat beating the Celtics get downgraded since the Celtics were an old team as well? Shouldn't his loss to the Mavs be considered even worse since the Mavs were the older team(oldest in the league that season, in fact)? What about the loss to the 2014 Spurs since the Spurs were the older team as well? If Jordan beating older teams is considered bad, then shouldn't losing to the older team be worse?
@davidmartinez524203 жыл бұрын
The whole "Jordan only beat older teams" is overplayed anyway. The Bulls were the younger team in all of the first 3peat and the older team in all of the second 3peat. In the first 3peat, the only age gap of significance was to the Lakers. Against the Blazers and Suns, it was such a minute difference that they might as well have been the same age. It's also funny how they'll call Stockton and Malone "old as hell" when Stockton was only 1 year older than Jordan and Malone was the same age(if you wanna get technical, Jordan's birthday is 5 months before Malone's so he's technically older). LeBron fans love grasping at straws to find any edge to give LeBron over Jordan, and that's exactly how you know that Jordan is the GOAT.

For example: Kobe's highest shooting percentage is equivalent to MJ lowest shooting percentage (not including his wizards years), highest PER of any player that ever existed, averaged nearly 40-points a game in the Finals (against the the second best team in the NBA) with the hand-check rule intact, etc... Anybody has the balls and the brain to conduct a statistical analysis using MJ numbers against other players? The media is full of Jews telling the sport commentators what to say, they don't even know basketball as much as fans...Look at 2007 for example, no one on ESPN or any other media outlets predicted the warriors would beat the mavericks, yet almost every NBA fans that year were certain it would happen, and it did.

Some people like to argue that Jordan was successful in the 1990s because he had the best team, unlike LeBron for most of his career. Well, this is a bad argument for two reasons: 1st, the Bulls were really the best team, but one of the reasons for that was ... Jordan himself; and 2nd, being in the finals with the best team does not guarantee victory. LeBron made four finals with the best team and still lost two of them.

Great job! I have made the same arguments for MJ over the years. Just think of this fact alone... he has 6 finals MVP awards which is the highest honor an NBA player can get. It not only shows he won a championship, it also means he was the main reason why. Who's in second place with that award? Shaq, LeBron, Magic and Duncan who all have 3. HALF of what MJ has! That alone makes him the GOAT but there is so much more like his unique ability to raise the level of his game at will. Look at the Jeff Van Gundy game, the George Karl game, the game where Jerry Stackhouse had been talking trash about Jordan prior to it. He scorched everyone and anyone who would badmouth him and was the only player that people were literally afraid to trash talk! He could just turn up the jets any time he wanted to and I don't know of another player who had that ability to that extent. He could also raise parts of his game at will while still maintaining his regular stats. Look at the 1991 finals where he averaged 11.4 assists to offset Magic Johnson, the 1992 finals where he hit a record breaking 6 three's in a half when they said that Clyde Drexler was a better 3 point shooter, the 1993 finals when Charles Barkley was the league MVP and was putting up crazy scoring numbers in the playoffs so MJ averaged 41 against him in the finals! The list goes on and on. That man was something special. GOAT!

@@jonnyarnett Jordan was a gambler on defense. Several of his steal attempts failed and led to layups for the opposition. Jordan is the greatest individual scorer of all time, but that did not translate to high octane team offense until Pippen and Grant hit their primes. Also, the FG% numbers are highly misleading because they don't account for peak performance. Lebron's efficiency *peak* was far higher than Jordan's. Or bailouts. While His Travelness (James) gets very nice ref treatment, no one came close to getting the kind of favoritism Jordan got. Ever, by a wide margin. And everyone who saw MJ play will say the same. And you did not address the radio man's best case, the when he gets on vs. after he leaves test. Kyrie left the Cavs and Bron still took them to the finals. Bron left the Cavs the following year and they became a lottery team. That was the second time Bron left the Cavs and a championship contender became a lottery team. This sort of thing is unheard of. Jordan left the Bulls in 1994 and the Bulls were a whopping -2 games from 1993. Replace an elite iso scorer with an elite playmaker in Tony Kucoc and that's what you got. Also, the individual accolades are valueless. Jordan was hyped as the face of the league for years. Olajowon, Mutombo, Pippen, Ewing, Mourning, Mason, Willis, all of these guys were far more effective defenders than Jordan (of course, these guys were all-time defenders at more defense-oriented positions, but still). Moncrief and Dumars were arguably better defenders at guard. I'm not staning for Bron here, MJ's string of triple doubles was monstrous, but we don't know if he could keep that up against elite competition like Bron did or for a whole season like Harden/Westbrook/Oscar. (Oscar deserves a GOAT nod.) I'm saying it's disappointing that after making several compelling GOAT cases, you fall back into Nike Mythology with Jordan.

@JonnyArnett-NBAKZbinr man thanks a million for putting it all together. I am an Indian working in Kuwait not a basketball player but huge huge fan of MJ23 never ever I can forget him. If there is anthing that bring me to this game it would be Jordan. There will be no one in the history of basketball to play the game in such manner and all round performance he was gifted with unbelievable quality. He is my G.O.A.T & will be forever. I do respect other great names & Legends but MJ is best & special. Air Jordan is the man! FORGET G.O.A.T I would say GOD OF BASKETBALL!

MJ has the best argument for GOAT consideration, yet he also played in the toughest and most physical era. Undisputed GOAT
@why36435 жыл бұрын
SedaW LoL false indeed he is the goat tho but he didn’t play in no crazy era
@sedaw32615 жыл бұрын
@@why3643 He played in the most physical era, with many rules which made life of an offensive player way harder than today. The toughest era in basketball was from 1980 to 2000, give or take 2 or 3 years. Also, other players were very talented, skilled and definitely more physical than today, but he was just so superior he often made it seem like he was playing against some scrubs, when in reality he was competing against the best and most elite athletes in the world. You see many former players say MJ would have averaged 50 if he played in this era. Why do you think that is? He has the highest per-game points average in NBA history, with 30.1 points a game, not even Wilt averaged that and Wilt played in the weakest era, yet MJ played in the toughest era and still has the best numbers. That's just one of the many reasons he's the undisputed GOAT

SedaW LoL lmfaooo bro what if u was guarding Jordan and he destroys u ur teammates can’t help u at all that likes playing 3v3 in the hood u for ur 3 and they got. There 3 but one of there 3 is a little kid who is getting destroy and u can’t do shut cuz they will call if u try to help wow is so hard is like playing 1v1 in a 5v5 and there are more skilled players I doubt it our era has some of the most deadliest and skillful talented players not saying last era they werent but not as closed as this one not only that majority of the good players that played in this era either fell of or lost to injuries sucks but is true and more physical I doubt there was ever a time when basketball was more physical slow pace and fast ok I can accept that but I don’t bealive any era was more physical so we live in a bitch era yeah cuz of the new skill that has been shown that is what they do they replace hand checking with flopping is a new thing know sucks but o well so is easy for guards to go to the line with that bullshit

Looking in from the outside ie New Zealand. I ask myself, If I wanted to WIN a NBA final series, who would be the first person I would pick. MJ has a 100% win record in NBA finals' series with a 100% NBA finals' MVP. No one else can say that. It is a guarantee that MJ WINS in a NBA finals series. Again, no one else can say that. MJ is the GOAT.
