There are a whole range of healthcare professionals who treat patients with back pain. These include spine surgeons, pain specialists, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors. Patients often have endless repeat treatments under one person before being sent the next when things are not working. There is very little oversight of care or someone taking responsibility, working with various professionals to find a solution that works.
I therefore founded The Spine MDT, which takes a different approach. By integrating all professions of spine care under the oversight of a spinal neurosurgeon, we are able to work together, co-ordinate your care, finding the least invasive solution that gives the longest lasting result.
Once an assessment has been carried out we build a unique care programme for each individual patient involving the necessary team members.
Face to face Clinics are currently in Kent and Essex, but I see patients remotely from around the UK and abroad and my national and global network of practitioners (physios. osteopaths and chiropractors is continuing to grow. I am able to oversee care delivered to you by practitioners in your town and country.
