It's essential for both the authorities and the local community to invest in improving the facilities along the trek, especially considering the substantial revenue generated from entrance fee and other fees. Enhancements could include better toilets and shelters, put some trash bins, and install better safety signs to guide and protect hikers.

Was really sad to see. I cut a load of shots of huge piles of litter at every stage of the journey because I didn't want the focus of the video to be on that and the toiler situation doesn't even bare thinking about! Feels like none of the money is reinvested back into the mountain at all.

Just really be careful, and respect the path. That mount has claimed countless lives before. In fact only last week a climber died up there. And a Russian hiker broke his leg fell off the ravine.

some nontropical ppl need to know their limits. first, their body not built to stand warm tropical climate. especially with light skin color. light skin cant stand hot weather that much than the darker skin color ones. and talk about heights, don't be dumb. you always need to wear somekind of JACKET. even if you're a russian that can swim in cold winter water. this is about cold in the height.

@@EddieExplores There are several mountains in Indonesia that are known to be very haunted and rarely do people go there, especially when there are many cases of climbers going missing or dying. even if there are very sensitive climbers they will see something on the mountain that they should not see.

I've climbed Rinjani before, and it was easily one of the toughest hikes I've ever done. Despite being a regular hiker in Java, Rinjani pushed me to my limits. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, especially for beginners. Big ups to you for taking on that challenge and succeeding! ✨

I've been to Rinjani twice, in 1995 (when Rinjani was still limited for seasonal hikers and it was super clean) and in July 2023 when I was utterly shocked to see how massive the trash and human waste everywhere in BC Pelawangan, otw down to Lake and Torean valley 😢😢 it is such a majestic and beautiful mountain but it is very dirty. Hopefully this situation can be solved.
