Having an issue with trying to get my dog into Panama. All US carries are not allowing dogs in cargo. Service has been suspended due to COVID. Trying to see if I can get on with COPA but it will be a push as conflicting information with a very difficult time getting a hold of airline. I was on hold for 2 hrs yesterday and then finally got disconnected as the hold extended to their closing time. Then on phone for 2 hrs this morning. Very disheartened. If my dog cannot come then I have to find a plan B which I really don't have at the moment, my house is sold closing end of month so just trusting in King Jesus his will be done!

My wife is from Boquete in the highlands of Panama. We try to visit Boquete yearly to see relatives and we always talk about moving there. My wife’s family has a coffee farm and it’s nice to experience the harvesting and taking the coffee beans to market, where they will be sun dried, tumbled and roasted ready for bagging and marketing.

Enjoyed your coverage of Panama, I'm wanting to relocate there from the USA sometime in December, just trying to figure out just where. Cost is the main factor, timing as to when to start the procedure. Want to immerse myself into the culture and language, learning Spanish will be my top priority once I figure out how much my costs will be, and just where I'll live.

It depends on where you live and how you live. Some people live very well in Panama on $1200 a month, including rent. Others prefer a more lavish lifestyle and spend $5000+ per month.

Hi Marianna, I've been convinced to move to Panama because of the pensoniado visa available. Also I'm a lover of coffee and I'VE read that Boquete in addition to a ideal climate has one of the best coffees worldwide. So I booked an hotel in Boquete for early November for one week. I suppose it is enough to find a place to stay permanently. So I'll be in Panama Boquete in a few months. I can't wait. HUGUE from Brussels Belgium

Surprising to hear cost of living for a single person in Boquete. Had always heard it was very, very expensive in Boquete because of so many expats moving there. Would like to know about other places in Panama, OTHER THAN Panama City, Boquete, Coronado. They seem to be most popular and most expensive. Are there other highland towns with more temperate weather that are affordable and have some expat presence? Beach towns NOT overrun with expats resorts? Looking for a milder climate or breezy beach climate with some expats and local culture, with good amenities that is less expensive than living in the US. Maybe I'm asking too much....?

@@coocoocachooglinThe testing site Is near gate 120. Once you go through the Tsa search area, you're able to enter the gates. You would have to get there early enough before your flight to get tested. It took me about 20 minutes to wait for my results. I'm not gonna chance it and wait until the day I leave. I'll find a testing clinic here in town two days before I leave.

Policed enforce the covid rules. Some people get a fine.

Panama City and Panama West (Oeste) have the highest number of Covid cases. For that reason they have stricter curfews and weekend quarantines than the rest of Panama. In Chiriqui Province, where I live, we only have a curfew from 9pm to 4am.

it depends on where you live. If you do NOT live in Panama City or Coronado, it is very affordable in Panama. Check out some of our other videos.

So how is 1200 a month cheaper than us?
@PanamaRelocationTours

depends on where you live in the US. You cannot live in $1200 a month, including rent, in most places in the US

I think that there should be different renting amounts with $1,500 a month I can't imagine leaving 300 for the unexpected. The idea is to keep savings and retiring money for later in life. I would like to relocate but not wanting to pay that much for rent. Overall love your channel. And have a high respect for what you guys do. Let's see how things are there after retire.

depends on where you live. I live in CA, and rent along in a decent neighborhood is more than $1200, my son pays $1500 near LA, and my house a 3 bd with nothing special is worth a million bucks.

My brother moved ands loves it there. He could not afford to live in the USA, which is basically imploding anyway as social unrest escalates and very bed political decisions eventually ruin the country.
