Thank you for showing my mother's hometown and where I spent every summer and go there every year for a month. I remember when we had no electricity 24 hours, rainwater was our only source. Then boom!!! I sit at the Bakery having a coffee and hearing languages from all over the world. It's amazing to see how the people made Pedasi in to a beautiful, laidback, super friendly town. You showed Casa de Campo and several rooms, the courtyard and the pool. That's our family home. No longer a B&B though. Planning a trip for November. Thanks again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE how you take the time to show the buildings and architecture. Looks like such a pretty little place and I've heard nothing but good things about Pedasi. Buying fresh fish straight off the fishermen for example. Oh my Lord. Sign me up!!!

Thank you! For some reason, when I travel, I tend to photograph buildings so I guess it now has transferred to by videos LOL. The people that I have talked to that have loved there, have nothing but great things to say about it.

So happy to see Pedasí after almost 2 years when I was there. You captured the street art, how pretty the little town is, those expansive beaches, all the shops with goodies and handmade art....❤️. And everyone greets everyone. 🙂 It's the kind of small town that you would imagine from a story book. Once upon a time there was a charming little town..... Thanks for all the info you covered!!

Yayyy!!!! Wow. I might need to hire you as my writer LOL. I was only there for a short amount of time so I am glad to hear your description of it. Everyone said that it truly is a tight knit community.

Lol! You have been to so many places and you cover so much essential info so I rely on your knowledge a lot. I am sure our paths will cross one of these days and I hope that you do find one or two or three places in Panama that become home. Pedasí is certainly a place you can lose track of time in and start to feel like a local because it's small enough to see the same people over and over again. Even the cops wave to you and wish you a great day. 🙂

@@gualrichard that is a great question regarding how loud it gets. Unfortunately, I do not know that answer to that but if I hear anything I will let you know. I watched a video on El Valle and they mentioned that they get a flux of visitors on the weekends.

Can a US retiree on Social security live simply , comfortably and $1500.00 usd per month?
@AbroadAbility6 ай бұрын
It's hard for me to answer that without knowing your taste or lifestyle but there are people who do. I would see if you can find current housing market rates for the area you are interested in to get an idea. Encuenta24 is a good reference.

Francisco, congrats on your recent retirement. That is a hard question for people to answer. It all depends on your lifestyle, the amount of SS, and where in Panama you choose to live.

..have to say, i'm getting a little disenchanted, on the rental costs,.. this town would have perfect for me. :(
@fanfare1003 жыл бұрын
Bare in mind that rental prices will be lower for pre-existing housing. That $110K house that was mentioned in the video was for a new construction. Existing homes are more reasonable. Also, best way to find is via word of mouth.

Cecil, thank you for your comment and perspective. I battled whether or not to show that but it is what I saw when in Panama and I want to show everything, not just the good. People should know what to potentially expect so they are not shocked. It was hard for me to watch but, the iguana actually got away.
