This is the game I miss the most after selling off my PS2 collection when we sold out house. At first it felt great to be starting a new life free of past memories but this game was extremely fun and well-done.

I'm glad other people like this game as much as I do, I must say that I loved playing this with my family back in 2006 and didn't know what Mario Party was till I got my wii and and Mario Party 8 in 2009 and now in this decade I feel like this game is just forgotten and needs to be remastered

I agree there, seems like no one cares about the game any more and that needs to change! I dunno about a remake, but it definitely deserves more attention.

I'm curious if it's even worth to buy a gamecube this generation or not? I'd always wanted to play the older games nowadays but it's hard to find one at a decent price. What would you recommend Jeremey?

They are a bit pricey, but video games are in general now, so it really just depends on how much you see yourself playing it. The GameCube has a phenomenal library though!
