I met Jake years ago when he was on tour in the UK had a great discussion about the band and life etc, I'm so glad his dream of helping people paid off.

music is a way of art that people see a way to dont feel alone in a brutal problem and try to help each other to "solve" this situation...

Ive had depression all my life, then i broke my back and have had to be on pain meds since 2003 when i was 33. Music saves my life!!! When im not doing well music helps my body and mind. I also just found your reactions and you are a God send! Thank you❤❤❤❤Taylor, if i was in NY I would have you as a therapist😊

I have dealt with long term pain since I was 19 and was hurt in the Army. I've had over 30 spine surgeries and have two mechanical shoulders. :-) The only way I can sleep is to listen to music. When I am at my lowest, I usually go with Pink Floyd or go back to my old Motown albums. I have subscribed to this channel and I think this is my first post. Last night was a rough one, when the weather changes, I know it and I ran into the video on Electric Callboy We got the Moves and watched it probably 10 times. That honest, open faced laugh just lifts my spirits. I am a believer in this site and in Taylor. I wish you the best with the depression. It took my psychologist over 3 years to convince me I have PTSD so yeah, I understand the depression, it can be hard to turn that downslope up. My so called "pain doctor" had me on enough Fentanyl to knock off a horse at the end and going cold turkey to get off it was not fun. Again, best wishes to you and I agree, if it were possible, I would definitely go to her for help. I am 67.

Music can not only help mental but physical, as I lay in a hospital bed for a month and a half falling a stroke the next day was just gonna be more agonizing pain trying to get my muscles strong enough to sit up right, I became known as the music guy by the nurses as I wouldn’t do tv, or if I did it was the music channel. Music like counting crows, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd and more made my day and night better and kept me from leaving off into the terrible nightmare world I had come to know post stroke (literal terrifying hallucinations to be clear).

A very good band you should listen to is blue October specifically singer/songwriter Justin furstenfeld's acoustic versions of "fear" "bleed out" and "hate me"

*unreleated to video* if you want music thats a bit "darker" but based on real events from ww1 watching Sabaton - christmas truce should be season fitting soon :)

You guys should react to Six Feet Deep and their song "Angry Son"...they are a mid 90's Christian hardcore band. That entire song has been my prayer every time I feel forgotten.

I’ve been really enjoying your music reactions, and would like to request that you listen to Shame in You by Alice in Chains. It would also be amazing to see a reaction to Pharmaecopia by Mudvayne, as it is a very powerful song about addiction and vices
