True. As long as you stay with the narcisist you will be forced to stay on that emotional drama, trauma and chaos cycle which is truly vicious!

Yes. She wanted to fight every minute she was awake. Most of the time I did not know what the argument was about. If I didn’t fight with her, she would storm out and disappear for the night. It would take me a year to get her out of my home. I went No Contact. Her Smear Campaign against me included going to my job and she tried to get me fired. Nothing is off limits to a narcissist.

What is so frustrating is a narcissist is in complete denial of their behavior and will always try to blame you for their drama. Trying to hope they will change or see the error of their ways is often futile. A narcissist will use and play the victim card when it's needed to get what they want. Once they get it you are no longer needed until the next time they are in need. They will place you in the forever friendzone or brother/sister zone because to a narcissist, you are not good enough to suit their emotional or physical needs or desires. They are incapable of loving themselves, let alone others. Often, they will tell you what you want to hear but, they don't believe in any of their bullshit themselves. Yet, at what expense must people pay be it emotionally spiritually mentally and financially to end such relationships? When and how do we say enough is enough. How does one break up or walk away from someone like this?
@racebannon964 ай бұрын
@@conn9545 They know what they are doing. When you realize that you are dealing with a toxic creature, walk away quietly, and go No Contact. I am still being harassed by a malignant narcissist for 16 years after ending the relationship. Some will not leave you alone and will make it their mission in life to torment and harass you.

narcissists aren’t motivated to solve problems. they don’t want to compromise or collaborate. it's counterintuitive to a healthy mindset…because a healthy person thinks, “why wouldn’t you want things to be better? who LIKES chaos?” well… narcissists do. why narcissists DON’T want to solve problems can be most easily understood by looking at what it would take TO solve problems. solving problems requires: 1. taking accountability narcissists do NOT want to take personal responsibility. instead, they blame you, deny what they did, and take the “victim” or “hero” position. 2. acknowledging someone else’s viewpoint narcissists’ entitlement means they see things from THEIR perspective. they can’t acknowledge that your viewpoint is just as valid because then they could be wrong. 3. having a collaborative mindset narcissists want power and control. they want to feel superior and “better than.” it means they can’t collaborate with you, because then you would both be “equals.” in my experience, when no-contact is not possible, i cut off talking as much as possible, and tell them to text or e-mail their concerns. i did this with an idiot neighbor and called him out over him and his visitors illegally parking in the alleyway behind our houses. mysteriously, he avoids me as much as possible. his silent treatment has been a blessing for my mental health lol 🤣 cheers from southern ontario, canada

That explains all the situations in which I was certain that this time everything really seemed to be fine, and surely we would not be having any fights for a longer while, only to find myself screaming a few hours later, dazed and confused what were we even fighting about 😶.
