how narcissists handle being called out for accountability: 1- rage at you. 2-gaslight you, use word salad to confuse you. 3-stonewall you - as in saying nothing, because you don't matter. 4-lie, and/or play the victim. 5-twist everything you say, deflect, then blame you. 6-punish you for making them liable, and give you the silent treatment. in the narcissist’s mind, if you would simply accept the lies, cheating, manipulation, and have utter disregard for your feelings, then everything would be fine. cheers from southern ontario, canada 🍁

That’s exactly what my cheating wife was doing. I was the bad guy always.

I used to know someone who claimed his ex girlfriend was crazy. He said he found her in their bathroom with a knife, talking to herself. He also said she stopped going to work and taking care of herself, but after he left she got a job and he saw her again passing on the street and she was confident and happy. Then out of the blue one day he started verbally attacking me. What I realized was the ex probably was yelling at him, not talking to herself, but his brain didn't process it, and she had a knife to defend herself because he was abusive. I unfriended him and blocked him on social media and will never speak to him again.

Simply saying I'm sorry it's not enough it's too easy. And it's not genuine. A proper apology has many more aspects to it

That's my ex I'm in divorce proceedings with. He told a secret to a person who told the person who the secret was about. There was no need to tell this secret he just loves to gossip. So the person who confided in him with the secret was pissed off. So he sees it as the person he told the secret to "she threw me under the bus".🙄 When I asked him why did you tell the secret in the first place when you knew it to be confidential. I was told I was just supposed to be on his side. Although he's never ever done that for me.

I've said it before, even somebody that is mentally tough and robust is gonna find it jarring. Many don't make it out alive, and I'm not surprised.

@@johnmaurer2035So true, John. Many don't make it out alive. It hurts my soul to know that I can never have a relationship with my mother, because of how she is. It's a pain I don't know that I will ever recover from.

I was just thinking, what if fish are actually excellent tree climbers and they just never do it because no one ever thought to ask them to? Anybody know a nice fish that would be willing to ask it for me? I just need to make sure. :)

I have another coworker who blew up on our new boss. His first interaction with him he called the new young boss a fuckin idiot and ignored everything he asked him to do. Then the coworker couldn't figure out why the boss couldn't get along with him and was after him for no reason. There is truly so much crazy out there today.

It's called splitting? Ive never heard this term yet but it's a tool my narc would use. He would Be an asshole but If I had a reaction to him I was the problem. He once tried to "own" me and point out where I started the fight from our text conversation. It was literally THIRTY minutes into the fight when I said something mean to him. He ignored like 5 things he said to get me to react. I truly believe he's insane.

Yeah they they deny anything you could say something totally normal and I’ll send her screaming at you. How dare you say that to them and you’re like what there’s nothing wrong with anything? I said they’re insane and they will do this just out of the blue attack you for cause you said something and it doesn’t make any sense like why would you get so upset over that it was a normal statement

She will cheat on you and then blame it on you. She will cheat with your best friend, your own brother, your father. A body is a body, to a malignant female narcissist. When caught red handed, she will tell you it's your fault, somehow, or get this, that you secretly wanted her to cheat on you. It's what she does. It's all she does and she does it with a big shit eating grin on her face. If you should have the audacity to complain, she will sick the law on you, squirt out some tears at them and have your life destroyed by her pet government husband. Male narcs suck, but female narcs are weaponized by the government. The damage female narcs and their enabler government have done to civilization can never be truly known. Get out of there at the first red flag she shows you. It's just not worth the risk. Let her find her victims elsewhere. That is NOT why God put men here. Peace, put upon men.
