The thing is with Sonoma in March is that it also is a bit of a coinflip if it rains there. Also, I think Bristol Dirt wasn't renewed because all the major support series like WOO left. Great video regardless though and I am heavily behind only having one Bristol date.

I’ve been the biggest fan of Bristol dirt as it’s fun to watch the cars slide and inch the tail against the barrier similar to a formula Drift car. Honestly grab people from Dirt Wurx who build the tracks for Supermotocross series and take it back to Bristol as the modularity of the banking I thoroughly enjoyed and it got many people I know interested in NASCAR again. My dad who hates most major racing series actually was a fan of Bristol dirt

the reason why nascar couldnt / wont do sonoma in march because litterally all the campgrounds and overflow parking used for the big race weekends like nascar, nhra or even indycar when they raced there, is on a seasonal wetlands where they mud doesnt dry out enough to even drive a car or walk on until mid to late may every year.

I think Nascar’s long term goal is to move the spring Bristol date to Nashville Fairgrounds. Nashville has a large market that deserve 2 dates, especially with the 2 dates being at different tracks. That is, if the Fairgrounds ever gets renovated.

They won’t go back to eldora due to bad blood between Tony and nascar. Also as someone who has been to eldora for the world of outlaws you absolutely should not “renovate” eldora. That track is historic in the dirt world. There would be a revolt if you were to start massive construction on that place.

The one thing is that if they did go to Eldora it would have been sold out due to the people that love Eldora and the locals, that will love to have Nascar in there town and heck it would prob of had better attendance then Texas or some other cookie cutter oval. Also if they did go to a real dirt track it would have brought Nascar and dirt racing together more then Bristol dirt ever could

If they left the seating alone, the television audience would be huge, alot of dirt racing fans who don't follow NASCAR would tune in along with the regular viewers. They all know the history and prestige of this track.

Eldora WOULD be acceptable. Leave it alone, take all the people you can through the gates.The television ratings would be off the charts. Supporting places like this is a win, as a lot of dirt racers have made it to NASCAR over the years. The world 100 brings a couple hundred cars ever year, so it CAN support a NASCAR race.

My Opinion is NASCAR Add North Wilkesboro become of Points Race replace Bristol Spring Race and NASCAR Add Eldora Speedway Dirt become Wednesday Night Race in Summer and NASCAR Keep One Bristol Date Race with Night Race and become Crown Jewel and move to summer in Late-June or July or 4th of July Weekends become Sunday Night Race in Summer.

Eldora is definitely where they should go. The Bristol Night Race is a Crown Jewel to me and I loved the dirt race, but I wish they never did the progressive banking. Bristol early date if it HAS to stay for now cause Fairgrounds ain't ready, I'd love to see the race after the 600.
