Why is it that some countries some nations take the giant leap and become successful while a lot of others miss the train of prosperity and progress. Over the years, scholars have come up with many hypothesis pertaining to the reasons behind the failure of nations. Some attribute this failure to the geography of a country while others blame the cultural roots. However, there is one very solid and the most pivotal reason behind failure of nations. That is the reason I discuss in detail in today's video. It has got great learning for you. I content is inspired from the book "Why Nations Fail".

@@osmanbey9543 whatever you do your goal should align with the country goal or nation goal but unfortunately the govt is unable to give this nation a goal. For example Malik Riaz is only doing investments in real estate to make only his money so his business is only giving profits to him but not giving anything to Pakistan nation or Pakistan economy. Instead of putting money in real estate if he should put his money in making those things which Pakistan will export that will be helpful to him as well as to Pakistan.

Your hypothesis is flawed. You have twice given the example of the Koreas but skipped the ideological differences between them. One Korea is governed by an ideology while the other is not. Pakistan is also an ideological country hence is a failure. If a nation is dominated by religion it can hardly make progress. No developed nation is religious. If there is any, please name it.

Who says it is not possible in Pakistan? Don't you relate yourself to Pakistan? Do you feel ashamed of being Pakistani? Before I start some thing Big...... My question is: Is it possible to grow a tree if its roots are in Pakistan, stem in UK, can bear fruits in China? Definitely --- Not possible @ all. Why? The reason is very simple: To get fruits from Tree, its roots, stem, branches and fruits must be at one place. When we are too shattered, deviated, confused and are in crisis, how we can even think of any solution? Last but not least: When we becomes donkey, everyone will be ready to get ride on you. So don't be so pessimistic, just Do any thing that really create difference in this beautiful Pakistan..... I have met many Pakistani who always criticises themselves, others, Pakistani system and much more but when I asked them did you ever spend one rupee or took one step to make any change and could never get any reponse but silence or shout or abuses.

@@KanishQQuotes I have done many things for my country and people living in it and still doing a lot of things for its betterment from buying a book for poor to pay fee for poor children from feeding a poor to give charity for Hospitals, Needy, for supporting Sports personal if someone is interested in any game, for arranging and supporting in jobs i.e. IT, Business Mangement, Finance and other fields of life wherever I have contacts and have done lot more for jobless personal not only in Pakistan but also outside of Pakistan i.e. Gulf Countries (UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Kuwait), European countries and Australia and many more..... I created a difference even a lit bit like dot. But I did. Because, I have aspiration to leave my footsteps on this beautiful planet before I leave this beautiful country to the journey of eternity. At least, I have tried to create a difference. I made it and did it. That's why and how I am satisfied! Why aren't you so satisfied. I know one reason, you always thought and thought and thought but never moved a bit. "Stop thinking ---- Start doing". This life is too short. And for "Doers" like me. A century is not Enough!

Problem was never with Ghalib's poetry or those novels. They were good in themselves but the way it was taught and studied. We never read that for educational or exposure purpose, but for passing exam that is the problem. PTB board also selected content from good sources but couldn't even properly added in the text books.
