@@TheCaribbean04 Pneumousia interacts with some enemies from Fontaine. Like hitting the Icewind Suite (dancing boss) with the correct attack 3 times during the Climax move removes its extra resistance and stuns it. Afaik some people even use the sword from the Narzissenkreuz quest to remove the shield in the abyss.

I'd still rather have another useless gimmick than blatant power creep. I have a day 1 account that can bulldoze through the abyss, but newer players will probably feel forced to pull for the new characters (none of which caught my interest other than the archon) just to make use of these op sets and keep up with the abyss hp inflation

Pneumousia only deals bonus damage and is not necessary on their kit but the Nightsoul on the other hand is the whole kit

I don't think the new support set making mediocre kits like Kachina's viable is that crazy - after all, the viridesent venerer set has been carrying mediocre anemo characters on its back since 1.x; it's just finally been powercrept with a set that can boost more elements with a longer uptime. IMO, VV's microscopic 8-second duration has made it long overdue for an upgrade anyway. Also I think Kachina is the cutest little creature in the entire world so having an excuse to run her is a straight upside for me >:3 (even if she'll likely be replaced by better 5* in the future)
