Why new M2 Macs now? What happened to the Mac release in November and WHY NOW?

Thanks for a great video! I appreciate the effort you put into research, and the timeline of analyst + Apple comments. I've been holding out for such a Mac mini Pro, so may be replacing my again 2014 MBP soon. The mini pro is a better fit for me than the Mac Studio (or the mini non-pro...)

@jonscott Thank you Jon for your great comment. I’glad you liked the video. Last year I replaced my 2014 iMac with a Mac Studio Max and really like it. Based on the specifications this new Max mini Pro may be almost as fast.

Thank you, for creating such a very detailed historical video. Sure that, China or other supply chain issues caused a delay in the launch of these new Mac systems from November 2022 to January 2023. Because, in the USA, no company ever wants to miss out on making money off of a new device, during the holiday season. What was more of a surprise to me was that, Apple introduced a more powerful version of their M2 "mac mini" desktop with four (4) thunderbolt ports. If they had done this with the M1 "mac mini" models, Apple, Inc. would already have an extra $2,000 of my money (smile...smile).

I’m glad you enjoyed the video and left your thoughts on the delay. Apple already got my money last year when they announced the Mac Studio Max. I think the new Mac mini Pro may be very close in performance.
