I think the regular season is fine. its when the post season happens it becomes a mess to me. I dont have a problem with players transferring. i do think if you transfer you shouldn't wait 1 year after transferring to receive NIL again. I dont have an issue with playes getting paid or transferring. i do think its an issue players are transferring just chasing the bigger bag after each season. So, something needs to be in place. Bowl games outside of national championship playoffs is just basically a team of who are left because so many portal out because they put the portal at such a bad time. ( i understand the reason due to College Semesters) I just makes its way less appealing for me to get invested in. Power to everyone else who loves it. Never budge someone enjoying something that i might not

It definitely needs to get regulated. - Put a financial cap on how much the programs are allowed to spend,. Although I'm sure the SEC will go back to the old ways and break that rule. - For the transfer portal, go back to allowing only one transfer. Some of these kids now are playing for 3 or 4 college teams. - Make a legal binding contract on the players who are receiving money, and the money is issued out in full once the player graduates, and completes their commitment to the program. Career ending injuries can be handled in a contract. Some of these kids are now making More money than some NFL players. They're also still getting a free ride scholarship to a major university.

The universities don't care. The AD's don't care. School leadership doesn't care. Coporate sponsors don't care. The ppl with the most to gain have the least amount of interest in starting a collective bargaining process because to the the juice(healthcare's, benefits, W2, taxes, etc) is not worth the squeeze

Everybody is misunderstanding a very important point. The ncaa didn’t rule anything regarding juco. Pavia sued and the cases hasn’t even gone to court yet. The judge granted a preliminary injunction preventing ncaa from enforcing the eligibility years for pavia until the case goes to court. So in the interim the ncaa made a temporary moratorium on athletes that this case would affect, which are athletes who played juco and played their last year of eligibility in 2024. Granting them ONE extra year. Not two. And ONLY people who exhausted all eligibility in year 2024.

Just because things are different from when you did them doesn't mean that things are easier or less challenging. With every move forward comes new challenges. When calculators were invented math didn't get easier. The math got more complex. Just because money is in college sports doesn't mean kids are running from something. They are running to the best opportunity to get paid, and that introduces new challenges. Would you stay at a job where you are undervalued just because it is what some old guy had to do?

The NCAA is needs to get rid of the transfer portal but keep the NIL. Having the transfer portal and NIL is a recipe for disaster. NCAA should have the old rules in play for the transfer portal if you want to transfer you have to sit out a year. I'm for the players getting paid with NIL.

You can only transfer without penalty if you're a graduate student, or you move down to FCS, or if the coach on the current staff leaves.
