This is my neighborhood. We were one of the first to buy and build in here, over thirty years ago, when Gloria owned all the property. Five family members and a two close friends all have built homes here. We are all grandfathered in so we are not part of the HOA. We needed some more living space and with one acre it was easy to build a mother-in-law addition. It is a charming, nice and quiet neighborhood, neighbors take good care of their homes and properties. However, it's sad how high the taxes have become. Some are being taxed out as they can't afford it. Have a friend in N.J. who has a lot in here and is hesitant to build as the property tax is so high. He compares it to the posh gated community in NJ where he lives and his taxes there are lower.
