I'll be honest, I was too happy seeing Jimbei finally join the crew to notice the convenience of the timing and location of his arrival as being suspicious. I can't remember if Onigashima is a secret base for Kaido or not. If it isn't really all that secret, I reckon Jimbei could have arrived at any time and just hung out around Kaido's base in the sea, waiting for something to happen (as something happening would most likely involve Luffy). As others have pointed out, being a Fishman he would have stood out in Wano on land (without a Kaido Crew uniform at least), so maybe his best bet was just to hide under the ocean. As far as we can tell Kaido doesn't really have the any ocean surveillance system setup.

I have a boring answer why: If Jimbei was with the crew on Wano eventually they had a spare time to throw a small joining party for Jimbei, which would make it very anticlimactic. So Oda delayed Jimbei's arrival to the beginning of the raid there was the 'no time to party yet we are a second from a war, just wait a minute Jimbei we will have a Gigantic party after this raid' which will make Jimbei's joining more climactic.

After of which he did arrive in Wano and waited around gatehring information from the sea life around wano about the locations of ships and such and getting other info from other sources.

I just want to make a correction here, Liam. Marco did not flyoff to get Izo, he told Nekomamushi where to find him, which is why Nekomamushi and his crew were so late, as they picked Izo up first. Marco arrived at Wano around the same time as Izo, Nekomamushi and his crew did. So we don't know why Marco was late or what he was doing. That is still a mystery, though I do believe that he might have been out to contact a few other former WBP and prepare them for something that would come after freeing Wano. As for Jinbe, I think he was doing something similar as Marco, working on something that will be useful for the crew later on. Something much bigger is coming after Wano, a fight greater than anything we've seen to this day. Or maybe Jinbe was using his connections to get news on things going on in the world, which will provide useful to the crew.

Honestly I think Oda had a plan for him, like being the main character in a mini arc that happens concurrently with Wano. Ultimately Oda scrapped it and decided to go with a more in depth flashback of Oden and Roger. It would explain why Jimbei's appearance happened very closely to the Oden flashback as if one were to explain why he suddenly showed up that would be the right time to do it.

So Act 3 is usually a tragedy in these types of stories right? What if it ends not with the island falling or raid failing in any way besides Luffy can’t turn off his new power? For everyone to have to come together to stop Luffy like what has happened with Midoria having trouble controlling and not hurting others with his Black Wip ability when it unlocked inMy Hero Acadamia. Hero turned into a threat due to being out of control could make for a good way to end this act on a terrifying note. It would give more time to this arc while letting us get a good reason we can’t just have Luffy in this mode again for a long time since he might lose control again and needs to learn how to slowly build back up to this state by using the power in bits and pieces instead of in a massive explosion. That would help with the clear power scaling issue this awaking presents. Sort of like Choopers Monster Point introduction to control.

Jinbe knew because of Raizo in Impel Down. He was probably told about the Mink ability and that if there was a raid on a certain emperor of the sea, it would happen during a full moon. Jinbe headed there to back Luffy up, then headed to the giant skull shaped island during the first full moon after talking to probably just one of the locals. Jinbe's absence can be explained quite easily by the whole cake island arc, how it encompassed many different islands, how Luffy hasn't sat still since his cook disappeared, something Jinbe probably couldn't have expected. He does have a tendency to overlook the random happenings in the group, and Sanji's marriage was definitely one of them. If anything Jinbe waited with Law.

I find this to be, especially in the One Piece climate of today, a rather original critique of the writing. I personally hadn't thought of all the conveniences leading to Jinbe's perfect arrival. What's more, it's interesting how, after watching your dude in a room videos, you found a way to title and clickbait this without it inherently seeming like a critical video, nor do you harp on about how it's a giant flaw. Rather something to be explained later because of your faith in Oda. It's fascinating seeing you explain how you run things, and analyze others, and then see how you navigate that.

once there was a kingdom on the moon that had advance science technology and its name was beerka. the people of beerka could make robots and dials (the things that they use in skypia). however, they migrate to the blue planet because they ran out of resources. (the blue planet is earth, and if you see the comic cuts with enel in it when he goes to the moon (check out the manga tab on this website), you can see writings that say people of beerka migrated to the blue planet because of lack of resources.) the ship schematic that the people of beerka used to migrate is probably the one that tom (franky's dad) had. when the people from the moon (beerka) came down to earth, they accepted everyone to join and use their technology in peace and soon developed into a huge kingdom. however, a secret organization wanted to take the power and authority of the beerka for themselves and started a war. So the Beerka developed three ancient weapons to win the war. the weapons are named the ''Pluton'', ''Poseidon'' and ''Uranus''. Pluton runs underneath the ocean floor to change the tides of the sea to make a shied against enemy ships. ''Poseidon'' ''Princess Shirahoshi'' her ability to summon ''Sea Kings''. Like Pluton and Poseidon, Uranus is a dangerous weapon which can be used to rule the world or, in the wrong hands, destroy it. But as of yet, absolutely nothing else is known about it. It was first mentioned during Nico Robin's conversation with King Neptune, when she says there are three ancient weapons that bear the names of 'gods'. the survivors of the people of the moon hide away from the secret organization and take the shape of the half moon D to use as their middle name. (this explains monkey D luffy, portgas D ace, gol D roger and so on) the secret organization that betrayed and destroyed the people of the moon name themselves "world government" and started a project to hide their wrongdoings. 1. they erase the 100 years of history of the war. (the 100 years of history (the void century) that robin wants to find) 2. they send 20 soldiers to the moon to erase any trace or evidence of the people of the moon. (the 20 soldiers that were sent to the moon are later called world nobles and their offspring are treated like kings. this also explains why world nobles always wear space suits.) the survivors of the people of the moon make a small island called raftel so that the secret organization cant find them. one piece is in this island and gol d roger was the only person to find the island. the reason that luffy, ace, roger, and blackbeard are not on the island even when they're all D's is because the people of the moon wanted the world to know the evil deeds done by the government. they wrote on cubic steles made of a currently unidentified, indestructible type of stone (By the Kozuki Clan stone masons) poneglyphs (bits and parts of the 100 years of history) and placed it all around the world and sent out a selected number of their own people (D's) to find it and let the world know the truth. the beerka's (people of the moon) make one final secret weapon while they are on the island of raftel. this weapon's ability is to take the four seperate seas that were divided by pluton, and turn it back in to one huge ocean (AKA ALL BLUE (the ocean sanji always dreams of). because of its ability to turn four sea's in to one, the weapon is called "one piece".

i mean like the whole jinbe thing is kinda iffy but if you remember how close he is with the whitebeard pirates he could have bumped into marco at some point when heading to wano or looking for izo and with jimbe revealing the information that he is joining the strawhats he was then informed of the raid and split ways with garfield and pineapple that could also be very plausible, or that since he didn't know how to get to wano he could have sought marco who has been there before where he ran into him and garfield he was then informed about the raid and location.
