I recently noticed that a small niche of guitar players were selling "presets" they made with Line6 Helix, HX Stomp, Kemper, etc. A lightbulb went up, and I purchased a Line6 HX Stomp. I began looking at the available tutorials on KZbin and although there are a few channels that do it, most of the questions I found on YT are going unanswered. So, I intend to answer them! I want to learn the HX Stomp by heart, create valuable content that answers peoples questions, and create my own "presets" which I would sell on a hosting site. I'm noticing that not everyone wants to create their own presets, and even if they can, some lack the know-how to dial these in. It won't be as profitable as selling courses, but it will be amongst my revenue streams. It all adds up.

Inspiring stuff, Graham. Thanks for the positive kickoff to 2021. The good news for me is that everything is in place... Now the challenge is to get over my own hatred of marketing and promoting.
@GrahamCochrane3 жыл бұрын
You can do it - once you realize marketing and promotion are how you LOVE and SERVE people well if what you are promoting actually improves people's lives then you come to love it.
This is a great take - the beauty of digital creators making courses is that most of them are these feature micro skills that they are actually using themselves in real time, as opposed to (most) college professors who aren’t actually practicing marketing, or film or business - they’re just teaching it based off of how it was 10-20 years ago. I feel Iike this gives online course creators a huge advantage to actually make an immediate impact on their students! Thanks for the thorough video and have a great day.

Great taking a stand for and calling us forward Graham, it is TIME brother! Congrats on your year, of course you rocked it, you had everything in place and you give authentic, genuine, kickass content! What part of Florida are you in and do you love it? I'm in California getting out of here ASAP unfortunate what has happened to this state, I've narrowed it down to Austin or St. Pete, so curious what your Florida take is Anyway, curious what your thoughts are around: 1) products, membership, or both first? 2) I'm a hybrid artist, entertainer, show host, (my new show and podcast is a variety show (has lots of deep transformational conversations AND entertainment). I'm not into the 5 steps, how to programs as much, more of an artist/messenger, (although I have 20+ years as a transformational coach and mentor, so I have the content), I'm just more into messages and wisdom with entertainment and making it cool, hip, and fun, than how to steps and modules. I've had Kajabi for a year and have an amazing website set up on there but never created the biz/funnel/offers for it LOL, so ready to rock and take advantage of for what Kajabi is best at. Would love your take on best way to start and create these first pieces, I'm ALL over it and ready to finally set this up as a big part of my business model. Thanks brother, appreciate you always! PS: If I had to narrow down my niche, it's ALL about higher consciousness, personal development, self expression, creativity, owning your voice, living your truth, being your own guru, basically I help people turn their lights on and come alive. I have a story/limiting belief that the audiences that are super hungry are the make money, build your business, relationships, health etc. My content (which is proven from 20 years of coaching people one on one and hundreds of conversations with including CEO's), is NEEDED, works, and people are hungry for it, they might not know exactly WHY they feel the way they do because they haven't done the inner work to tell, but I know it is the answer they're looking for based on my own life and past results. I think I may get to create the copy that speaks to the part of them that is looking for something they didn't know existed, vs here's what tons of people are already searching for. It's a bit like the next evolution of humanity, especially after all this 2020 energy that really took people for a loop. Curious what your take is as I am so ready to dive in and just want to make sure that it matches my energy as more of a high energy, personality, artist, entertainer, and messenger vs the how to guy. Would love your thoughts, appreciate you always my friend!

@@LeadershipwithMike Slow at first as a "soft-launch" but better now since creating a free preview. I'm only promoting on KZbin, although I'm learning about social/Google ads. Perhaps that'll help! Do you have one yourself?

@@TheMoneyResolution not yet. Working on one and thought to do Skillshare as it’s free. But then I’m thinking kijabi. I’ve got a KZbin audience of 11k subs. So I’m really on the fence 🤷🏻♂️

It depends. Usually the deeper the niche the more you can charge - so the fewer customers you need.
