Thanks so much for posting this honest take on the focus, effort, and time necessary to build a brand. I've been successful in the vintage clothing arena but am about to jump into deeper water with my own clothing line. Two things have been slowing me down: the idea that I need everything to be perfect and the fear of failure. Seeing this video reminded me that we all make mistakes on our various paths and that failure at one step or in one venture does not need to define us. I wish you all the best this year and again thanks for being so real here

Great video. I love Alex Hormozi as well. "LATE GREAT" usually means dead physically or in the eyes of the public.

This is really great man--as someone who has attempted to start numerous businesses myself and finally have something working, I like that you're both very introspective and willing to call yourself out (which I know can be hard!) as to why things didn't work out. I will say that yeah, you're in a very competitive field, and it's tough.

Hi, I really like your guys‘ clothing style, I’m also doing a new brand, may I ask where do you guys find those kind of clothes? And I’m wondering how did you guys price your products?
@skeesh330 Жыл бұрын
Prices depend on what it costs to make the product and how much of a profit margin you want to make. When you say where to find those types of clothes do you mean the shirts we print on or like other brands? Thank you for liking our stuff, always means a lot when someone says they like it. Best of luck with your brand!

@@skeesh330 Thanks a lot, and I have another concern: how did you guys deal with taxes? Do you have a hired accountant or something?
@skeesh330 Жыл бұрын
@@yuanzhenwang3962 I do them all myself, it’s pretty easy with turbo tax although it costs like $70. Track all of your expenses like a hawk and keep all receipts

The EFFORT is really the issue here... The whole essence of business is to learn as you build... "ok our content wasnt professional" - lets learn to make professional content "our website didnt get sales" - ok lets learn conversion rate optimisation. while I admire the honesty i truely do. I think this video could have honestly been summarised as we didnt care enough about it. Which is normal and theres no shame, sometimes you get into a business only to realise its not for you. Lots of beginners get into clothing exaclty like you thinking its smooth sailing.... You are competing with a founder whos working 12 hours a day just to get a tiny slice of that market. Passion, purpose and discipline is what sees the small ones break out. Even with all that it's not guaranteed
@skeesh3306 ай бұрын
Very insightful comment. We didn’t put enough effort into the things that were failing and didn’t try or focus hard enough on those things. We take a step back and come back with more knowledge than when we started.
@paulcaor6 ай бұрын
@@skeesh330 Still a great experience to see what you really value. There's no way of knowing until you try. We're all trying to figure out our passions in life. So I commend you both for even exploring the possibility.
