First comment!! I know sidious possessed quite a few holocrons from Sith Lords past and bestowed them on his main apprentices to supplement their training. Also thank you sooo much for following ledgends btw. I think sidious didn’t acknowledge the main reason bane adopted the rule of two. There was always a chance that his own followers could band together and rise against him but his own overconfidence blinded him to this very real threat.

@@EmberedAshe the Emperor never intended to give up any power. He always intended to be the last of the Sith, even when he was training under darth plagueis. His power was the culmination of 1000 years of Sith improvement and power building through the rule of two. Vader might’ve been a close equal partner to share his rule with possibly before what happened at mustafar but the emperor would always keep a way to defeat him in his back pocket because he knows the Sith always turn on each other when there is power equity

I’ve always assumed that the Sith Holocron in Rebels was created by Palpatine. The one that Ezra Bridger and Maul found in the Sith Temple. It made sense to me that having placed Maul near the temple in the Rebels series and having said to Maul in the Clone Wars series after defeating Maul and Sauvage the Palpatine had plans for Maul. To me all the “bread crumbs” so to speak seemed to fit and point to the Sith holocron in Rebels had been created by Palpatine.

let's not forget starwars is made up. we had an imperial assault campaign "star wars dnd" that was about 3 clones of Anakin. one all that was good and pure. one that was all his rage and anger, the last one was a straight copy. the evil one died, the good one turned evil over love and the last made a new empire and won. anyway there was a massive story arc over palpatines holocron of our own making. if your reading and watching this there is a good chance you know more then you should about starwars. grab your friends and some dice and make up your own lore.

Darksidious was wise to put all his knowledge and their agent Harley crime as well as putting in in all three books that way, even if the whole crown got destroyed all the knowledge is in the 📕 so it’s brilliant and maybe just maybe what if he makes contact from the real chaos Realm through a special ritual that he could learn from the night sister one day, and once she finds out the truth, secrets of the night sisters then he could make himself a perfect body, as well as learn to make a perfect host like they did with the two sisters and the show acolyte except brothers instead and using them only to use them as host and a sacrifice and imagine if he could whenever he dies, they come back to life and whenever they die he comes back to life and it’s a circle all over again and again never stopping until the Jedi somehow separate him from the chaos realms

... I have that book. Or rather, I have the book of Sith. There are few more chapters to it. Excerpt chapters by other Sith, or other Dark-Siders. Annotated by various people. In regards of whether old Palpy should've made a holocron or not... A book can be more easily hidden. Copied. Spread to those who might seek power. Kept away from those who would recognize a holocron for what it is, and destroy it. A book... Is just a book, after all. No harm in owning one.
