the ship was always fine to me having the mischievous and smart guy and the airheaded kind girl make for a good opposite's attract relationship. as for Pony, I feel her relevance in the future will be determined based on the outcome of this arc. if we end up going the route of everyone going to America to escape Shigaraki, she could be pretty important to help the students around the country.

Monama is insecure. He wants to be a big shot, the star but he's literally limited by his quirk (a copy quirk at that) so he over compensates as a way of dealing with being minor character. Pony. I don't know. Maybe her naiveness makes Monama feel good or like a star.

I like more monoma×kendo because I think the way kendo act like monoma's guardian is funny and cute. But i understand that ship and i think it can (rip my ship😢) be canon. I mean, I mostly ship it because I somehow thought that kendo and monoma were childhood friends. Like, look at those "i know you since kindergarten" vibes! 😂

Okay but like... Pony and Izuku? Hear me out, they're like the two biggest sweethearts in each class, and although they don't interact, it's not exactly like they hate each other. Take how she talked bad about Shoji and his quirk making him look like an Octopus, which she didn't want to look at. I also feel that Izuku knows more english than anyone else in the Hero course besides Juzo, who can speak english. So maybe he helps her learn Japan, or talks to her in english to make her comfortable.

Well it's just an observation based on fans, the ship doesn't show any toxicity or pedophilia related so that could make the ship valid. Fan's shipping character doesn't based on random thoughts, as shown in the video, the guy explained the ship and explaining it. Let's choose a random ship, Bakugo x Aizawa, in this situation. Bakugo is a minor while Aizawa is the opposite, so we can determine that this is a pedophilia ship. To add some points, Bakugo view Aizawa as a teacher while fans view them differently. Like Monoma x Pony, they may be dating or just fans, we don't know, we just need to rely on future updates, in conclusion, i opinionated that monoma and pony ship is cute and "may" have potential on becoming a thing.
