Russian Grandmaster and seven-time Russian Champion, Peter Svidler, is considered the 'God of Grunfeld defense' for his expertise in the opening. People say that a lot of modern moves were 'invented' by him and that he has contributed a lot to modern Grunfeld theory.
In this lesson, IM David Miedema will show you a great game played by Svilder against Beliavsky, playing the Grunfeld defense.

Later Svidler improved the line. Instead of Qc7 after Rb1 he played a6! inviting Rxb7 with Na5.

This video, though... yapping about his 'first time,' speaking the moves but they don't sync up with what's happening on the board... more rambling... "I don't really remember the game..." Yikes, man. This is terrible. It needed a rehearsal and some actual thought put into it.
