Also precision ground flat stones for deburring precision surfaces are amazing, they don’t cut at all just shear off burrs

This is how I built engines back in the day. I was the first person in the world to put a new engine in a DB9. My boss at the time when I was working for an Aston Martin restoration company told me I was wasting time. Well thanks to the Aston Workshop and Bob Fountain. Barrel of mother Fuckers. Re performance shows me me to be correct.

Wouldn’t it be useful if Aqua blast built a dedicated engineering lazy Susan to go inside and hold blocks and heads vertically so they can rotate and just be turned over in intervals to clean the other side, it might not be perfect, but it sure would make cleaning big components easier. Man handling 100% of the time in the wash area is difficult with marigolds on. ❤😂 and a new small dedicated pressure wash head to get into blind cast recesses to stop the need for secondary cleaning with picks and wire brushes.

You cannot build anything with high tolerances without it being clean, also the cleaning process makes you inspect the parts closely for damage / cracks in the castings.

Volvo used a sealer on it's engines that set under pressure but did not block oil galleries as where it squeezed out it didn't set and washed away with the oil. Would something like this work on the lambo engine.

Then I worked on engines ( compressors) it was layed on cardboard-to avoid metal to metal and bruising

I love the idea of a Karl calendar. Should do a month for the ladies! something skimpy maybe, like a string vest? Anybody else have any ideas about the clothes he should wear for each month?
