Don't forget the fantasies some women have thinking they can change the badboy. that all he really needs is someone to love and take care of him, and he will open up showing his true good guy nature. women be trippin

exactly, and I mean its not their fault, nor is it all women. its in a lot of girls natures to want to take care of people and help them, but when you're 25, carving X's into your forehead, talking about marriage. and the the psychopath is saying you're the crazy one. you are doing it wrong.

Actually they can't "protect" them as they are in prison already haha. I agree with the man under me. It's a bless to know that the man you love will be there all the time when you want to see him (in prison), always have people keep an eye on him (jailers), there is no chance that he will get addicted to alcohol or drugs (again, he is in prison), and most amazing thing is that he will never be able to cheat on you with another woman. (no offense, this is just a joke. But you have to admit that it does sound amazing, huh?)

My mom. My mom is attracted to the most disgusting excuses for human beings she can possibly find. It's gotten to the point where I don't even give the guys she dates a chance anymore. I'm rude and horrible to them from the start and I don't give a fuck. She needs to be a better judge of character because if I hear "why can't I find a nice guy and be happy?" slide out her mouth one more time... I will lose my shit.

Цветелин Василев Well, a lot of serial killers that I have read/heard about, the psychopaths, don't express much anger in committing their crimes. Usually it is because they enjoy the power and control over their victims. Very few serial killers had something against their victims, other than cereal killers who murder a specific type of person as vengeance towards another. Like a man who murders women because he was tourchered by his mother or something.

Because women and men are fundamentally different. Confidence trumps EVERYTHING. Looks, money, status etc. And a charming serial killer is often super confident and dominant. It taps into the alpha male persona that turn women on. Fuck what feminists say, women are wired totally different.

+crashedpelican There are certain fundamentals to human attraction. Yes, all women are different, but I've yet to meet a woman who isn't into a confident, dominant man. Even when they're in relationships with the pussy whipped guy, they usually end up leaving and/or cheating on him.

dunnowy123 Good point. I'm that guy they cheat with. Or I was until I realized I have a conscience and I may be due karma. But females lie in order to protect their agency. I'm also the guy they admit their dark secrets to after a roll in the sack. Hell, even B4 hand. They just get more honest about it after they drop the pretenses and can now become the wanton lust-beast they *could NOT BE* in their relationship.

***** Okay, I never said MOST women are attracted to psychos. But what attracts women to these men is a subset of a bigger idea, which is women (and come on, this is a video about generalizations, let's not nitpick about individuals) are into confidence, dominance and stereotypically "alpha" personality traits. For example, I've never met a woman who's asked a guy out. And I've asked many about this. It's not something they feel like they should do. Why? The answer is almost always: "because it's the guy's role to do that." He's supposed to lead. And that's just one example.
@dunnowy123
@dunnowy123 8 жыл бұрын
+alpha1 Fair enough. I've been asked out too. It happened once lol But it's not the norm. Ask 10 women about it and most will give the answer that they expect a guy to lead.

i have . infact many. women are attracted to confidence (seen it many many time) confidence often comes with narcissism and narcissism is a prerequist for sociopaths and psychopaths. women gets so blinded by the charm and confidence that they then willfully ignore the possibility that it could be more pathological than that.

Back in the day men had to PROTECT and PROVIDE for their women and children. In America today, men don't have to do that as much anymore. However, women still want to be protected. So the nice guy seems weak. The bad guy seems strong. The badass appears to be able to PROVIDE and to PROTECT a woman. A real badass man will protect and provide for a woman's soul. A woman should do the same thing.

He's just a pussy to be thrown away in favor of the narcissistic bad boy who will treat them like shit. Guys are the opposite. Guys are very logical and are completely focused on looks. Title is misleading. Psychopaths are not necessarily serial killers. Some don't ever commit to killing anything. Also, a fetish is a sexual attraction to an object; non-living. I'm able to let the 'fetish' part pass through with some scrutiny as fetish really focuses more on objects.

tapirtoon You cant assume that. There are actual reports of psycopaths who know that doing certain things are considered by society "wrong" and so they dont act on them. These individuals often had the classic traits of psycopathy but recied alot of attention and love from their parents. Even so psycopathy is something genetic, some people are prone to certain conditions, and it may be that two generation share the same disroder but it wont mean the third generation is to follow next. Same with these guys. Psychopaths are at a higher chance of doing "bad" things due to certin parts of the brain being undeveloped or with low activity.

Lots and lots of defensive people in the comments, but I'm not sure why. The fact of the matter is, murderers and various criminals get hundreds and hundreds of fan letters from women every day, many of whom are perfectly regular and "balanced" in every other respect. This is fascinating, and the only thing about this video that could have been better is that it should have gone more in-depth.

Melissa Jansen Sorry but you know nothinh about psychopaths. Why the hell would you think a psychopath is a killer? Most of them are not, or you would probably be dead. There are many of them out there... believe me. Great leaders or CEO's are considered to be psychopaths because of the strong personality they have and the lack of remorse. It doesn't even mean they are violent persons. They are impulsive, and if a situation comes up, if the first thing that comes to their mind is violence, they will probably strike... But even in that, psychos usually take their shot only when they know they will "win". So impulsive yes, but not dumb at all. You have a wrong understanding of a condition that is more about them being antisocial than being serial killers. That's a problem with watching too much TV i guess.

Psychopaths are often confident and charming, which is understandably attractive to anyone. Contrary to the image of villains, they often dress and speak well, and just seem like nice, normal, fun guys.

My ex-boyfriend is a psychopath, I just didn't realise/accept it until only a few weeks ago (I broke up with him 4 years ago). The reason why, is that I got a new job, where my nighshift manager behaves in the same way, as my ex-boyfriend. I began to question it, (he turned the faults on me, though it could never be my fault and other strange behavior). I talked with another colleague, who directly said to me 'he's a psychopath'. I thought at first, that he was overreacting, but since then, I have been Googling symptoms and videos of this kind of behavior. Psychopaths are really clever, and it most likely takes experience and knowledge, before you can spot one. Often look into their eyes or at them, when something bad happens. They can't help but to feel pleasured..

Yes, I think you're right. Psychopaths appear to have very similar patterns of thinking and behaviour and once you become familiar with it they are surprisingly predictable. Though I'm not sure they are particularly clever, it's just that they spend so much time and effort in disguising their actions and manipulating others, that with so much practise they become good at it. Am so glad you broke up with him.

@Haran Yakir I don't think she ment to say that women in general have a tendency towards being attracted to serial killers, she was just talking about the women who do happen to be attracted to them. It is an oddity that people wonder about and a perfectly legitimate topic for discussion, and not ment as a generalization about women.

(Thank you for your calm response. The last two responses I got were all up in arms about it) I agree with you that she probably did not mean to say that about women in general. I do think that the presentation of the subject made it appear as such. I also agree that it is a legitimate topic. It's just that the way it was presented in the video is sending a bad message.

Humans are weird. You're in good company. I think your attraction to dangerous and powerful men is most likely evolutionary. For millennia, women who were attracted to the strongest men had a higher rate of survival, and produced the most children. Thus, the tendency is passed on - either through genetics (nature), experiences (nurture), or both. So, while it makes sense, be careful who you associate with. Perhaps, consider dating athletes or military instead of gangsters or killers.

Woman LOVE attention, maybe because they are an object of it since little girls, stating to be in love with a serial killer might get you lot bunch of attention and won't hurt because they are at prison, "attention whores" hate competition and no one would compite for their lovely serial killer.

I've never really known a woman who was turned on by killers, but I've known women who were turned on by a guys whom say "No I didn't make the 'mistake' you made the the mistake" and "if you can't make it work, I'll find someone else who will." You can see the pure adoration, love and joy in their eyes after guys tell them this, just like in porn..... It's pretty discouraging, especially when nicer guys are treated like garbage and betrayed horrendously, led on to believe a woman loves them just to be discarded at the most painful possible moment.

I suspect this has something to do with our evolution. On the savanna in Africa a woman who chose a violent mate may have actually increased her (and her offspring's) chances of survival. The violent mate, while they may have presented some risk to her and her children, would have provided better protection from predators (human or otherwise).

***** I'm not sure about your claim that hunter-gatherers were relatively non-violent. Do you have a reference for that? Steven Pinker in his book "Better Angels of Our Nature" looked at the level of violence in a number of traditional societies (including North American ones). He concluded that typically in a hunter-gatherer society you are (or were) about 10 times more likely to die at the hands of another human than in a subsistence farming society. And in a subsistence farming society you are typically about 10 times more likely to die at the hands of another human than in a modern western society. (And he has a lot of references to backup his claims).

The problem at the root of all this is the lack of education about humanity. Fearful of retribution from religious types classifying us "divine creations" rather than instinct driven animals. Our conscious mind is the only claim that we humans have to being superior to every other creature on the planet. By act of choice and force of will we can deny instinct and make ourselves greater than the animals we came from. It's instinct that drives women to dangerous men, just as it is instinct that makes men capable of being dangerous. It is conscious choice that keeps most men from being violent cavemen and gradually more and more and has been a woman's choice to stop enabling that shit.

Hm, I'm watching this video because I personally find myself attracted to people like The Joker and other violent characters so I wanted to know why because I can't help liking him, something about him just draws me to him and I feel this connection...I've never killed anyone, atleast not in real life...and I feel like maybe he's acting the way he is because of neglect in the past and if nobody's gonna love him now the violence will just get worse and maybe if I love him it will stop? Idk honestly, I feel sort of neglected and I think about killing people that have bullied me and made my life the hell it is and if I killed them I would still want someone to love me... people not loving me and continuing to neglect me would make me angry and would just bring back the urge to kill more but idk, I'm pretty confused myself
