Excuse me for saying this but I believe you to be an agent pushing an anti THC agenda. Do you agree with me when I state the FACT that the human brain has multiple receptors designed specifically for the uptake of the THC Molecule? Do you agree with me when I say that everyone has some THC naturally occurring in their Bodies? You see Bird Boy, these are all PROVEN FACTS. So do you acknowledge these FACTS or not?

3 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes, 10 seconds! Honestly has not been that bad so far! The cravings have definitely been relatively strong I cannot lie, but when you've got the right attitude about quitting, it doesn't matter. The cravings don't matter. They can easily be brushed off. Addiction is not rational so you cannot rationalize with the intrusive thoughts. You just need to do it. Or in this case, not do it. Not pick up a vape. Appreciate the motivation! @@_icscata_💪

To anyone watching this. I am a 19yo who has struggled with drug abuse for 5 years and my family has struggled with it for generations. Im here to let you know that you dont need the strongest will power. you dont need the right people around you either. All you need to do is take a step back in your own life. Look at yourself without any filters, and tell me. What is it that you see. Do you see someone making the most of their life, trying to fix the issues that pop up into their situations. Or Do you see Somone Smoking to avoid the feelings of dread and disatisfaction with your life. Ive been struggling with so many things in life. Im not going to say my position is worse than yours, because tbh its probably not. But there really is nothing else to say to the people trying to quit. You Need to really understand that no one. and i mean NO ONE is going to step forward and help you. So you must do it yourself.... just btw this was all typed in one string of thought so i apologize for incoherency if there is any.

Amen to all of this! I quit and relapsed 4 times, at the end of my 20 year addiction to weed, before I finally got to where I am now. I have officially been sober off weed for 1 year and 2 months. Every time I relapsed I learned so much about the addiction, about withdrawals and about myself. Depending on how addicted you are, the withdrawal period can really suck and be so dang hard. I knew this going into quitting this last time and that helped me. It’s so important to have people in your corner that you can talk to as you’re withdrawing and having hard moments. Have things you can do to keep your mind and body busy. Take really good care of yourself. Take naps during the day, because sleeping at night is almost impossible. It can be done, you just have to get past that first 3-4 month withdrawals period. Keep saying no. Even when you think you’re in the clear, you will still have moments of your brain trying to talk you into smoking. Don’t do it! You will relapse from one hit, If you were previously addicted. Just keep saying no. And that moment will pass and you will be proud of yourself. You will realize you can live life without marijuana.

@@RaduMadalin-mc1tp I 100% agree with you. I have many friends who smoke weed. I have still been around them but not as much as I used to. And I definitely don’t go around them when I know I’m struggling internally. It’s not worth it to me to relapse. I don’t want to go through that again. Weed made my life much less boring while high, but it also made me extremely lazy and weak each time I smoked and I realized I would neglect daily chores and my life would be a mess if I didn't quit. So I decided to quit despite knowing my life would be boring but overall better balanced. Basically what I mostly learned is that you can't always have everything in life and you have to make hard decisions but ultimately there is always one decision which is better (or less worse than the other).

I quit smoking weed on 9/27/23. I was a daily smoker for about the last 6.5 years. Mostly at night, but there were absolutely times when I was abusing it and smoking throughout the entire day. Thankfully, it's been relatively easy. I'm beginning to remember my dreams! I haven't dreamt in years! I own my business and weed was impacting my motivation, self-worth, and discipline in doing the things that I KNOW are necessary to run a successful business. Yesterday while at work, I began to out of the blue have ideas flooding into my head about how to improve my marketing strategies and get my name out there. Hello! I've tried to quit and relapsed so many times, but with the support of my girlfriend and my friends, I've been off cannabis for months. I should have kept track, but I felt like forgetting about it helped me so much. I estimate that it's been about 6 months now. I'm going through a time right now where I've been craving, but going back to your videos has reminded me time and time again of how bad it got for me, and how I can never return to that way of living. School has been great, life has been great, and I find my sense of humor and confidence have returned. Just wanna say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You're doing God's work

Your videos really helped me. I have tried to quit several times and relapsed, the last 3 times I had severe withdrawal symptoms (prolly due to habitual high thc edibles recently vs flower) and before your videos, I didn't know that was A Thing, so I just felt like crap and used and stopped feeling like crap in the immediate, but the overall issues of course remained. Your videos educated me and I was able to make a plan and taper down my dosage over a week which GREATLY reduced my symptoms. I'm 2 weeks sober tomorrow and have no desire to use rn. I've used daily for the last 20 years and started using 30 years ago. Everyone is different- your body, your habits etc - but having information that realistically broke down what happens in my body and brain during the process made me able to plan and execute my plan instead of waiting to feel motivated. Game changer. I'm definitely still in the active recovering stage but I feel confident about sobriety in a way I haven't for years. Thanks! This man knows of what he speaks.

Yep, it’s because many people complain and bitch about the smallest withdrawal. Then people develop “Reddit hive mind” on cannabis quitting and withdrawal and constantly focus on it, so when they are actually in a minor withdrawal, it seems worse. Just remember, 20 years ago nobody EVER complained about weed withdrawals. True addicts just need any excuse not to quit… at the end of the day. I’ve done it myself.

I was over tired and I wasn’t in the right headspace, that addictive voice got to me and made me think that if I hit the vape, I would be able to easily fall asleep. I pulled out my vape and hit it 3 times. I immediately realized my mistake, got mad at myself, and put it away. I hope this doesn’t happen again, but just for anyone else reading this, slip ups can happen. Just don’t let it turn into a full relapse. Realise yourself that being addicted is the place ‘they’ want you to be in. Don’t give in. Don’t be depending on anything. If I can quit ( as a heavy aka constant user) everybody can.

I am almost 7 months sober from heavily smoking weed dabs. A lot has changed and improved, but some hasn't yet. It's still very difficult to stay motivated and positive. My social anxiety and depression are still somewhat debilitating. I am wondering if I'm still going through a protracted withdrawal and it will improve naturally.

Similar boat I was smoking 5gs of wax a week to myself for about a year and I stopped because my mental health almost went into a psychosis stage and I realized I couldn't do it anymore, I have bad social anxiety and depression and it's through the roof currently and im worried that ill never return to normal after 15 days lol I'm hoping we get there

@@loveee38 Yeah mine went through the roof for about the first month and then it started to get much more manageable. It took about 3 months for that anhedonic joylessness to start fading. Even though I still have some minor issues with anxiety, depression and motivation it's still way better then being on the weed. Having spending money helps too. I Quit weed about 10 months ago and was smoking at least a gram of wax a day. My advice for the motivation is setting big goals that you truly want to accomplish. My advice for the staying positive and depression is to make sure that you are doing good daily habits, like exercise and meditation. One thing that will help with all three of those things is Cold Exposure.

Today is day three and this is the first time in 10 years that I've gone this long without smoking. After using high concentration cartridges for the past 4 years on a daily basis I cannot believe how intense the withdrawal symptoms are. I am reminding myself that this is the addiction leaving my body just like you said and I just want to sincerely tell you how much you have helped me. I know I can get through this and I will never pick up again because I never want to experience this again. This is worse than the PTSD symptoms I was trying to avoid.

I had to practice sobriety and dip my toes in that cold water for a while before I could jump in. I had to read the same book about addiction multiple times and watch tons of Frank's videos. I had to do lots of yoga and meditation and hypnosis. It didn't happen over night, but if you're stubborn about it, sooner or later you'll get there. Keep it up :)

Quitting seems impossible right now for me because: I've been sober for almost 3 years when I was 19-21, right now I came back for 2 years and I always felt that there is something good for me in weed. There is a chance I am right even though It destroys me in every other way possible. I'm doing psychological examinations and AdHD is suspected which can't be diagnosed without me getting sober. I know I can because I did it a few years ago but every try makes me weaker I feel. Watching right now your guide hopefully that will help. It's crazy that because one day a few years ago weed was able to boost my ability to focus and ignore the world around me, so as to increase my performance, I manipulated myself into believing that's the cure for me. Getting best grades at school under influence really made me feel like I was built different. Right now I am far from being able to attend lessons at Uni or work. Anxiety and lack of self-esteem driving me crazy...

You start with an extremely small. Very easy change. For me. It was taking a walk in the morning. Even as brief as down to the end of the block and back. Any change in your daily habitual cycle will help to crack it. That small change will have an exponential effect. If you are trying to quit a substance , then on the first day just wait 2 minutes longer than you normally would. Then the next day wait 3 minutes longer and you normally would. And so forth and so forth. The anxiety you feel thinking about it is extremely short-term and almost entirely and illusion. You can do it. You can at least try. Don't fear failure.
